Affordable 13 MP Rear Camera phone With a Decent Selfie Camera

Swipe Telecom, an innovative Indian start-up offering budget tablets and Android mobiles. The company has launched another mobile, Swipe Konnect Plus at a price of 4,999, available exclusively on Snapdeal!

The key highlight of the mobile is 13 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 Megapixel front camera at an unbelievable low price of Rs. 4,999. In fact, it is the cheapest device with these features in India.

For starters, the Swipe Konnect Plus has a 5 inch HD (720p) display with a pixel density of 293 ppi. Moreover, it runs on the Quad-core MediaTek processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz and 2 gigs of RAM.

The dimensions and the weight are 144x73x9.8 mm and 156 grams respectively. Notably, it is not the thinnest mobile out there.

For photography, it has a 13 MP rear camera which is a good deal at this price point. Most devices in this price range come with 8 MP or a 5 MP camera.

Also, it has a 5 MP front facing camera to click selfies. Additionally, it comes with 16 GB storage which can be less for some users but it can be increased with the help of expandable storage via micro SD card up to 32 GB.

Further, it is a dual sim smartphone which runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and has a unique sandstone finished back panel which looks similar to the back panel of the iconic OnePlus One.

Unfortunately, it lacks 4G support which might turn out to be a huge disappointment for the potential buyers since 4G is rapidly gaining popularity in India.

The phone supports 3G and Wi-Fi along with other connectivity options like Bluetooth and a 3.5mm jack.

The battery is capacity is 3000 mAh which promises 10 hours of use and a 220 hours standby backup.

It also has an ambient light sensor along with proximity sensor and accelerometer.  Swipe offers one year warranty on the phone and six months warranty on the accessories inside the box.

Also, Swipe has tied with Indus OS alongside Celkon to introduce the homegrown operating system to more devices in the country.

A few months back, Swipe Technologies had announced it aims to reach $100 million in revenue over the next two years, as it expands its product portfolio.

To achieve their target, the Company recently also launched the Swipe Elite Plus which was the cheapest Full HD display smartphone at just Rs 6,999.

Last month Swipe even announced Swipe X703 tablet with Android 5.1 and 10.1 inch HD screen at Rs 7,499. It runs on Quad-core Mediatek chipset and 1 GB of RAM.
