Acer, at its recently concluded press conference in New York, has announced a total of 15 new products ranging from gaming laptops, upgrades to the existing the Aspire series, and a couple of 4K monitors as well.
Acer Swift 3
The Taiwanese multinational company has announced two new products under its Swift range, namely the Swift 1 and Swift 3. The Acer Swift 3 comes in two display options- 14-inch and 15.6-inches with the screen resolution set at Full HD.
It is powered by the 7th Gen Intel Core processor and has an Intel HD or Nvidia GeForce graphics card. Asus is touting the Swift 3 as one of its ultra light portable laptop at just 1.8 kg. The device has 8 GB of RAM and comes with an HD webcam, USB Type-C port. As expected, the laptop runs Windows 10 OS.
The Acer Swift 1, however, comes in only display variant with a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS screen and weighs just 1.3 kg. The laptop comes in various color options- luxury gold, pure silver, and sakura pink.

Same as the Swift 3, it also runs Windows 10 OS and is rated to deliver 10 hours of battery life. At the heart of the laptop, there’s a Intel Pentium or Celeron processor along with 4GB of RAM. The device comes in various storage options- 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB.
The laptop has connectivity options such as ultra-fast 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C port.
Also, Acer confirmed that the both the Swift 3 and Swift 1 comes with support for Windows Hello, which is one of the trademark feature in the Windows 10.
The Acer Swift series is not coming to India any time soon and will be available in North America in June. The Acer Swift 1 comes with a price tag of $329 (approx. Rs. 21,000). The Swift 3 comes with a higher price tag of $599 (approx. Rs. 35,000).
Also, these laptops will be released in other countries such as China from June.
