The AMD Radeon R9 Nano was unveiled by AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Lui to the world during the E3 2015 along with the AMD high end graphics cards – AMD Fury and AMD Fury X.
AMD Radeon R9 Nano is a very interesting piece of hardware considering the small form factor and the performance it commands.
The AMD Radeon R9 Nano is expected to launch this week on 29 August 2015. The graphics card matches or even out performs the performance of R9 fury. The AMD R9 is expected to launch for a price tag of $549, in India we can expect it to sell around Rs. 50,000.
In terms of performance the graphics card will have somewhere in between the Nvidia GTX 980 and the GTX 980 ti.
AMD Radeon R9 Nano Specs Details Price India: The AMD Radeon R9 fury is based on the Fiji Architecture and comes with 4096 stream processors. The graphics card has 256 TMUs and 64 ROPs along with 4GB HBM(High Bandwidth Memory) on a 4096-bit interface, clocked at 1,000MHz.
It is ideal for gamers looking for a micro-ITX small form factor rig and want to do gaming on 2K or 4K monitor. The space constraints are there in metros like Mumbai, Delhi, Tokyo and Singapore where gamers are even shifting to compact powerful rigs.
The AMD R9 Nano be a match for the AMD R9 Fury X in a compatible form factor minus the liquid cooler.
The graphics card’s compute performance is at a comparable 8.2TFLOPS.
The most astonishing fact is the incredibly low TDP of 175W, 100W lower than what is used by the R9 Fury X.
Given the small form factor lower TDP and great performance, AMD may be able to sell to more of these little wonders even when compared to the AMD Radeon R9 Fury.
