Apple India has revealed the prices for all the models for the Apple iPhone in India. The smartphone will start selling on 7th October 2016 vs the 16th September global sale date. The Apple iPhone will be available in Indian stores starting 7th October 2016 at 7:00 PM.
The Price for the Apple iPHone 7 Plus is as follows:
- iPhone 7 Plus (32 GB) – Rs. 72,000
- iPhone 7 Plus (128 GB) – Rs. 82,000
- iPhone 7 Plus (256 GB) – Rs. 92,000
The iPhone 7 Plus is Rs. 12,000 expensive compared to the iPhone 7 and the next higher storage variants costs 10K more. The official pre-booking of iPhone is not yet started in India but is expected to happen soon
The Price for the Apple iPHone 7 is as follows:
- iPhone 7 (32 GB) – Rs. 60,000
- iPhone 7 (128 GB) – Rs. 70,000
- iPhone 7 (256 GB) – Rs. 80,000
Price Cut for iPhone 6s , 6s Plus and iPhone SE
Apple has also reduced the Price for the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus along with the iPhone SE.
Apple iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus with 16 GB /64 GB storage will be discontinued and the base variant will have 32 GB of storage.
- iPhone 6s Price (32 GB) – 50,000 iPhone 6s Price (128 GB) – Rs. 60,000
- iPhone 6s Plus Price (32 GB) – 60,000 iPhone 6s Plus Price (128 GB) – Rs. 70,000
The iPhone SE will be priced at Rs. 39,000 for the 32 GB variant and the 64 GB variant will be available for Rs. 44,000. Though some of the news websites are reporting this as a price cut but in reality the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and SE are already priced at these levels or even cheaper.
If you are planning to buy the iPhone 6s or the 6s Plus you should soon be able to buy it cheaper as we expect the prices decrease on online stores shortly.
iPhone 7 Sales and forecast
Also as reported by T-Mobile and Sprint in US there is a very strong demand for the iPhone 7 specially the jet black variant. Stores have stopped taking pre-orders for black variant.
Apple has announced this year that they will not disclose the actual sales number of iPhone after first week, which is a custom that Apple has followed for many years. Though Apple stocks have risen almost 20% since July 2016 and rose by 5% in last couple of days after the positive news of massive pre-orders.
