Asus has launched the new Asus Zenfone 3 Laser along with the Asus Zenfone 3 Max at an event held in Vietnam. The smartphone comes with improved rear camera and a much faster Auto-focus system.
The New Asus Zenfone 3 Laser is priced at $280 or Rs. 18,000 and will first go on sale in Vietnam and later will be available in other markets.
The Taiwanese tech giant has yet not disclosed the launched date for the new smartphones in India but we expect it to happen in August 2016.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser comes with an improved 13-megapixel ‘PixelMaster’ camera with Sony IMX214 sensor with EIS (electronic image stabilization) and it also has a much faster laser Auto focus system which allows the camera to focus in 0.03 seconds.
The smartphone has a metallic build and looks quite similar to the Zenfone 3 or the Zenfone 3 deluxe. It has a Full HD IPS LCD display with 5.5 inch screen size and 403 PPI. It also comes with 2.5 D curved glass along with Gorilla glass protection and offers a more pleasing look.
The smartphone comes with 77% screen to body ratio and very thin bezel design which makes the metallic Zenfone looks more premium and stylish.
The smartphone is powered by an unknown Octa-Core processor and comes with 4 GB of RAM. Unfortunately Asus has not yet shared the processor details but is believed to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SOC.
The smartphone comes with 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128 GB using the memory card.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser also sports a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device and Asus claims that it can unlock the device in 0.2 seconds.
The smartphone is also not very thick and comes with 7.9 mm thickness. We will add more details once the smartphone details are shared by Asus with us.
