Asus has launched the new Asus Zenfone 4 along with 4 more smartphones at an event in Malaysia.
The Asus Zenfone 4 is part of new Zenfone series which promises an evolved camera system for all the new Asus phones. The Asus Zenfone 4 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Processors Snapdragon 660 or the Snapdragon 630 Octa-Core 64 Bit SOC’s.
The smartphone comes with either Adreno 508 (SD 630) or Adreno 512 GPU (SD 660). We can expect blazing fast performance from the new 14 Nm Qualcomm processors and Zenfone 4 is one of the earliest devices to run on these new chips.
The smartphone comes with 64 GB of internal storage which is user expandable and also has 4 GB / 6 GB RAM option.
Though as I mentioned above the Zenfone 4 series focuses more on the camera setup, the Zenfone 4 also comes with a Dual rear camera setup and a fancy new Selfie camera.
The Asus Zenfone 4 comes with 12 Megapixel + 8 Megapixel Dual camera with Sony flagship IMX362 sensor. The camera comes with f/1.8 aperture and has 6P Lens which can offer fast autofocus upto 0.03 seconds.
The camera also comes with 4 Axis Optical Image stabalization and there is 3 Axis Electronic Image stabalization. The camera is also capable of 4K video recording and comes with Asus Pixel Master Technology.
The smartphone has a 8 Megapixel front selfie camera with f2/.0 aperture to click stunning selfies. It also comes with beautify mode to enhance the selfies post clicking.
The smartphone comes with Pixel Master 4.0 camera modes and can also click Selfie Panoramas.
The Zenfone 4 comes with Hi-Res audio 192kHz/24-bit standard with DTS support to enhance the music listening experience. The Asus Zenfone 4 has 3 slots for using Dual sim cards and also a dedicated slot for using the memory card.
The smartphone comes with support for 4G LTE (CAT 12 Bands with download speed upto 600 MBPS) and Volte. TheAsus Zenfone 4 offers has a metallic build and comes in Moonlight white, Mint Green, Midnight Black colors.
The smartphone comes with 5.5 Inch IPS LCD Display with Full HD resolution and there is also 2.5D curved glass coating which can enahance the looks of Zenfone 4.
The Zenfone 4 comes with NFC support, fingerprint scanner embedded in the front home button and there is also support for bluetooth 5.0.
The mobile comes with 3300 mAH capacity battery which also has support for fast charging, there is a 15Watts charger included to make sure that the smartphone charges swiftly. The smartphone can charge upto 50% in just 36 mins.
The Asus Zenfone 4 runs on Android Nougat 7 and will also get the latest Android O update soon. Asus has also added the new Zen UI 4.0 with the new Zenfone to enhance the user experience.
Lastly, the Asus Zenfone 4 measures 7.5 mm in thickness and weighs 165 grams. There is no word on pricing and launch in India though we can expect that to happen in October 2017.
Asus has also launched the Zenfone 4 Selfie and Zenfone 4 Selfie Dual Camera in India recently.
