Asus Zenfone 4 – Top Features and Details
Asus has launched the new Asus Zenfone 4 along with 4 more mobiles at an event in Malaysia.
The Asus Zenfone 4 is part of new Zenfone series which promises an evolved camera system for all the new Asus phones.
For starters, powering the device is the latest Qualcomm Processors Snapdragon 660 or the Snapdragon 630 Octa-Core 64 Bit SOC’s.
It comes with either Adreno 508 (SD 630) or Adreno 512 GPU (SD 660). We can expect blazing fast performance from the new 14 Nm Qualcomm processors and Zenfone 4 is one of the earliest devices to run on these new chips.
Further, it has 64 GB of internal storage which is user expandable and comes with 4 GB / 6 GB RAM options.
Aforementioned, the Zenfone 4 series focuses more on the camera quality; it comes with a Dual rear camera setup and a fancy new Selfie camera.
For photography, it has a 12 Megapixel + 8 Megapixel Dual camera with Sony flagship IMX362 sensor. Additionally, the camera comes with f/1.8 aperture and has 6P Lens which can offer fast autofocus up to 0.03 seconds.
Also, the camera has 4 Axis Optical Image stabilization and there is 3 Axis Electronic Image Stabilization.
What’s More, the camera is even capable of 4K video recording and comes with Asus Pixel Master Technology.
Also, it has an 8 Megapixel front selfie camera with f2/.0 aperture to click stunning images. Moreover, it comes with beautify mode to enhance the selfies post clicking.
The mobile features the Pixel Master 4.0 camera modes and can even click Selfie Panoramas.
The Zenfone 4 comes with Hi-Res audio 192kHz/24-bit standard with DTS support to enhance the music listening experience. The Asus Zenfone 4 has 3 slots for using Dual sim cards and also a dedicated slot for using the memory card.
The smartphone comes with support for 4G LTE (CAT 12 Bands with download speed up to 600 MBPS) and Volte. The Zenfone 4 offers has a metallic build and come in Moonlight White, Mint Green, Midnight Black colors.
Display, Battery Life, and Other Features
The smartphone comes with 5.5 Inch IPS LCD Display with Full HD resolution and there is also 2.5D curved glass coating which can enhance the looks of Zenfone 4.
The phone comes with NFC support, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front home button and there is also support for Bluetooth 5.0.
Powering the device is a 3300 mAH capacity battery which also has support for fast charging, there is a 15 Watts charger included to make sure that it charges swiftly. It can charge up to 50% in just 36 mins.
The Asus Zenfone 4 runs on Android Nougat 7 and will also get the latest Android O update soon. Asus has also added the new Zen UI 4.0 with the new Zenfone to enhance the user experience.
Lastly, the phone measures 7.5 mm in thickness and weighs 165 grams. There is no word on pricing and launch in India though we can expect that to happen in October 2017.
Asus has also launched the Zenfone 4 Selfie and Zenfone 4 Selfie Dual Camera in India recently.
