Asus Zenfone Pegasus 4A Images Specs and Details

Asus is long rumoured to launch the Zenfone 4 lineup, which includes a few smartphones such as Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Max, Zenfone 4 Laser, Zenfone Deluxe, and Zenfone 4 Ultra. And the Zenfone 4 Max aka Zenfone Pegasus 4A’ specifications, press renders, and pricing.

If you’re wondering why we’re saying Pegasus 4A as Zenfone 4 Max because Asus usually launches the same Zenfone 4 Max smartphone as Pegasus 4A in other countries. To recall, the Asus Zenfone 3s Max was launched as Asus Pegasus 3 in China and Taiwan.

And the company would be doing the same this year as well. As said earlier, the Pegasus 4A has surfaced online recently, and it looks like yet another iPhone 7 rip-off. Yes, the Pegasus 4A looks like the iPhone 7 Plus.

However, the images look slightly edited, but some of them are convincing enough. It’s such a shame that Asus is copying the design language from other vendors because other manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, HTC came up with a unique design.

All the Asus Zenfone 4 lineup is said to arrive with a dual camera setup at the back, and the Pegasus 4A also has two cameras at the rear. The implementation is still unknown, but for now, it’s partially confirmed to have dual cameras. Overall, going by the leaked images, the Asus Zenfone Pegasus 4A has a boring design in 2017.

Along with the design of the smartphone, the internal specifications of the device also looks boring. In the age of powerful budget smartphones, the Pegasus 4A is speculated to feature dated hardware.

The rumoured specifications of the phone include a 5-inch 720p resolution, MediaTek MT6737V chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (expandable up to 128GB). There are two cameras of 13MP sensor and 8MP sensor at the back, and a 5MP selfie camera, which might also have the Live Beautification camera as the Zenfone Live released recently.

The 720p display in 2017 doesn’t inspire confidence, and the entry-level MediaTek MT6737V chipset is a major bummer. What would be Asus thinking with the Pegasus 4A? The device will run Android 7.0 Nougat, and a 4100mAh battery will power it.

Finally, the pricing of the Asus Zenfone Pegasus 4A is tipped to be at 1800 Yuan, which would be around $263 and approximately Rs. 17,000.  Expect the dual camera; the smartphone is a major let down. The device will reach Indian shores as Asus Zenfone 4 Max and will be launched in India by the end of July.
