Audaciously Fast Huawei Honor 5C Powered By Kirin 650 launched
Audaciously Fast Huawei Honor 5C Powered By Kirin 650 launched – Huawei has launched the new Huawei Honor 5C in India today. The pre-bookings will start from 22nd June 2016 on Flipkart and the smartphone will be available for purchase via flash sale on 30 June 2016.
The smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,990 and will be available online to purchase. The smartphone comes with 15 months warranty which is more than the standard 12 month warranty that most manufacturers are offering.
It speaks volumes about Huawei’s confidence in the build quality of honor devices. The smartphone is available in Gold, Grey and Silver color variants in India.
Huawei has been quite innovative and looking positive in 2016. It is on a launch spree with some of the most amazing smartphones they ever made.
Now they have made the Huawei Honor 5C much better to it’s predecessor, comes with stupendous metallic design and shockingly fast Kirin 650 Octa-Core processor.
Egregiously, Huawei made two variants of Honor 5C when they launched the smartphone in China last month.
They have come up with 2 variants one was a 3G variant and the other 4G variant. In India they have launched the 4G LTE version only.
Nevertheless, the Huawei Honor 5C looks stunning with curved metal design and a rear camera which is uncannily similar looking to Samsung S7. No it does not take as good pictures as the S7 but looks good.
Ergonomically rounded metallic surface makes the device really easy to hold and offers good grip. There are subtle lines around the circumference of the smartphone which makes it unique compared to other Huawei models. The exquisite design on a mid-range budget smartphone does make it desirable.
Huawei Honor 5C have Gorgeous Metal Build & Incredible 8 MP Front Camera
Huawei Honor 5C sports a 5.2 inch 1080p Full HD display with 423 ppi and 74% of the screen to body ratio. The thin bezel design makes the display even better for watching videos and reading the text.
The smartphone is powered by the Huawei’s latest in-house developed Octa-Core Kirin 650 chipset paired with Mali T830 GPU. The Kirin 650 is made from 16 nm FINFET technology compared to some of the counterparts using 28 nm.
The processor has 4 Cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz.
It is the answer to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 from Huawei. Huawei claims the processor offers 100% better performance for GPU and 65% better CPU performance when compared to the Kirin 620 processor. The power consumption is reduced by 40% Vs Kirin 620. The Kirin 650 is also used in the Huawei P9 lite which is a much expensive smartphone.
The smartphone comes with 2 GB of Ram to augment the processor.
The Huawei Honor 5C has a generous battery back-up with 3000 mAH battery capacity.
Huawei has upgraded the rear camera with a 13-megapixel, f/2.0 aperture 5P lens and to take some incredible selfies we have an 8-megapixel front camera with a f/2.0 aperture 4P lens.
The Honor 5C comes with 16 Gb inbuilt and supports micro-sd card for up to 128 GB. The smartphone measures 147.1×73.8×8.3 mm and weighs 156 grams. Not too heavy and thick.
Huawei’s own fast and reliable fingerprint reader at the back offers quick unlocking with 0.5 seconds. To top it all, the phone have Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Huawei’s own feature loaded skin EMUI 4.1.
Despite having jaw-dropping features, Huawei has kept the price affordable, and it will compete with the Lenovo K4 Note, Xiaomi Redmi 3 , Meizu M3 Note and the LE2 in market.
The only flaw I can see in the otherwise immaculate mid-range device is the addition of 1 GB more Ram, but Huawei doesn’t have it in the Huawei Honor 5X too.
Overall the smartphone comes with a fantastic processor and even has a 8 Megapixel selfie camera which is going to be a delight for selfie lovers.
