Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro and K20 – Offers Best Performance and have Triple Rear Cameras
If you are looking to purchase the latest high performance and excellent camera mobile from Xiaomi, the latest K Series phones are excellent choices.
Xiaomi has launched the first high-end phones in the Redmi series in China.
Xiaomi has so far launched high-end devices in the Mi-Series while the Redmi Series usually gets the entry or mid-range phones.
But this time the brand is moving to a new strategy and has launched the K20 and K20 Pro under the Redmi Brand name.
Xiaomi India head, Mr. Manu Kumar Jain has already said that the K Series will come to India soon.
Notably, the K20 Pro offers flagship grade specs, we are still wondering what will happen to the POCO F2. It is likely that Xiaomi may launch the K20 and K20 Pro in India as Poco F2 and POCO F2 Pro.
Nevertheless, let’s move ahead and see what K20 Pro and K20 have to offer to the buyers.
Price and Availability
The K20 Pro price starts at CNY 2,499 (Rs. 25,100) in China for the 6GB + 64GB variant.
The 6GB + 128GB costs CNY 2,599 (Rs. 26,200), 8GB + 128GB – CNY 2,799 (Rs. 28,200), and 8GB + 256GB – CNY 2,999 (Rs. 30,200).
On the other hand, the Redmi K20 costs CNY 1,999 (Rs. 20,200) for the 6GB + 64GB variant.
The 6GB + 128GB – CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 21,200) and 8 GB + 256GB – CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 26,200).
The K20 Pro will go on sale in China on 1st June whereas the K20 will start shipping from 6th June.

The Redmi K20 Pro comes with a unique flame texture design with glass back surface. The phones are available in Glacier Blue, Flame Red, Carbon Black colors.
The K20 Pro runs on the Android 9 Pie along with the MIUI 10 Os. The good news is that it will be one of the first Xiaomi phones to get the Android Q Beta.
For starters, the Redmi K20 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octa-Core Processor with a clock speed of 2.84 GHz and has the Adreno 640 GPU.
Further, the mobile comes with 6/8 GB of DDR4 ram that makes it ideal for high-end gaming and multi-tasking.
At the front side, it has a full view display without any notches. The K20 Pro has a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display panel with (1080×2340 pixels) resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The display quality is definitely better than the average IPS LCD screens since Xiaomi is using an AMOLED panel.
Since it has a pop-up selfie camera similar to the Oneplus 7 Pro, it offers insanely high 92% screen to body ratio.
Additionally, the phone offers hardware DC dimming support and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
For photography, the phone comes with a stunning triple rear camera assembly. There is a primary Sony IMX586 sensor that offers f/1.75 aperture lens.
Secondly, we have a 13-megapixel super wide-angle lens, and thirdly an 8-megapixel lens with an f/2.4 lens.
There is a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera that snaps up and down as required.
Furthermore, the K20 Pro comes with a 4000 mAH capacity battery with 27 Watts Fast Charging support to charge it rapidly.
It has all the standard connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 3.5 mm headphone jack, WIFI, Dual Sim, Dual VOLTE, etc.
The phone measures 8.8 mm in thickness and weighs 191 grams.

The K20 comes with a similar design and camera setup. However, there are a couple of downgrades in comparison to the Pro variant.
Powering the K20 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Octa-Core Processor and the Adreno 618 GPU. The processor comes with 8 Cores and the performance cores are clocked at 2.2 GHz.
The AMOLED display lacks DC Dimming (helps in lowering flickering at lower brightness values). Also, we get 18 Watts Charging support instead of the 27 watts on the Pro version.
Both the phones are superb value for money and we can’t wait to get our hands on these new beauties from Xiaomi.
