Blackberry DTEK 50 is a Secured Android Phone
Blackberry has launched its two new Android smartphones in India. These Android smartphones from blackberry are named as DTEK 50 and DTEK 60.
After reaching a saturation point, blackberry realized the necessity to ditch its proprietary OS. Blackberry after suffering major losses in the previous years have embraced the Android Eco-system. However, the company wants to continue its journey as a smartphone maker and finding hope in Android market.
With the launch of Blackberry Priv, the company entered the Android smartphone market. However, the company poured some of its old essence by adding a physical QWERTY keyboard, only to realize the fact that it’s once prestigious form factor has no more value in this keyless era.
Back in July 2016, the company unveiled the DTEK 50 a full touch display Android phone. The smartphone came out with a selling proposition of claiming itself as the most secure phone. (but that was just an improvised default Android feature).
Now after 3 months the DTEK 50 is launching in India along with a premium smartphone named DTEK 60.
The DTEK 50 is priced at Rs 21,990 and will be available to buy at the end of this week. On the other hand, the DTEK 60 will ship by next month and it’s going to cost Rs 46,990.

The DTEK also provides a security rating for the device, and provide recommendations to improve a poor security rating.
Blackberry is set for round 2 in the Mobile Arena battling Samsung, HTC, Apple and Sony. They are definitely not competing with the Chinese opponents in the high specs low price battle.
