Coolpad has just added some more fuel to the fire by launching the cheapest smartphone with a Fingerprint scanner and 3 GB RAM. The new Coolpad Note 3 lite comes at a really affordable price of Rs. 6999.
Prior to the Lite version – The Coolpad Note 3 was the cheapest fingerprint scanner mobile with 3 GB Ram (Rs. 8999), and now the new lite version just rock bottoms the pricing of 3 GB mobiles in India.
Even better for customers who already had a good choice of Lenovo A6000 Plus and the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime around Rs. 7000 (come with 2 GB RAM).
The Note 3 Lite is an Amazon exclusive deal and will start sales on 28 Jan 2016. The registrations for the Coolpad Note 3 Lite will start today.
For starters, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite comes with almost similar specs to the Coolpad Note 3 that is priced Rs. 2000 higher.
The major difference between both the smartphones is the screen size, battery capacity, and the processor.
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite comes with a 5.0-inch screen with HD (1280*720) resolution and 293 PPI. Additionally, the screen is scratch resistant but it is not clear if it is Gorilla Glass or some other protection.
Furthermore, powering the phone is a MediaTek, Quad-Core processor, MTK 6735 clocked at 1.3 GHz. The processor is accompanied by Mali -T720 GPU. The processor is comparable to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (64-Bit processor).
The older version, Coolpad Note 3 is powered by the Octa-Core Mediatek 6753 processor that is more powerful.
Next, the phone runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1 along with the Cool UI 6.0.
Also, during the media conference, Coolpad spokesman hinted that even the Android Marshmallow update will come to the device, but no date is given.
Additionally, the phone has 3 GB ram which is superb for multitasking and playing games. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite offers Dual SIM support (4G+4G) with 4G LTE and 3G/2G data support.
The fingerprint scanner is mounted at the back of the device under the rear camera.
For photography, the rear camera is 13 Mega Pixel with Autofocus and LED flash support. Also, there is a front camera with fixed focus 5 MP lens. The camera specs are similar to the elder sibling, Coolpad Note 3.
The battery capacity is 2500 mAH which is sufficient to power the device all day with moderate usage.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite comes with 16 GB internal storage and there is also a micro-sd card slot to expand the storage to 64 GB. The smartphone is currently available in Champagne Gold color for purchase.
