Infocus has launched the 4th smartphone in the Bingo Series known as the Bingo 10, before this they launched the Bingo 50, Bingo 20 and Bingo 21. The smartphone comes with some excellent features and is priced at Rs. 4299. It is available for purchase on Snapdeal.
The Infocus Bingo 10 runs on the Android Marshmallow 6.0 and is the World’s Cheapest Smartphone running the latest OS from Google. It is something unusual for hardcore Android Enthusiasts who want to have an Android Marshmallow smartphone priced below Rs. 5000.
The Infocus Bingo 50 also runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and has 3 GB of RAM priced at Rs. 7499.
Infocus Bingo 10
Display – The Infocus Bingo 10 comes with 4.5-inch display screen and offers (854*480) pixels. The smartphone screen does not have any protection like the Gorilla Glass.
Processor – Powering the mobile is the MediaTek Quad – Core Processor, MTK 6580M with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz.
Camera – The rear focus camera on the Infocus Bingo 10 is a 5 MP camera with LED flash. The highlight of the smartphone other than running Android Marshmallow is the 5 Megapixel front selfie camera in this price range.
Ram and Storage – The Infocus Bingo 10 comes with 1 GB of Ram which is okay considering low price. The storage is 8 GB which is expandable up to 64 GB using a micro-sd card.
OS and Connectivity – As stated above it runs on the Android Marshmallow 6.0. The smartphone does not have 4G LTE connectivity but supports 3G / 2G and WIFI options. It has dual sim support.
Battery Capacity – The battery capacity is also sufficient considering the processor and screen size it offers 2000 mAH battery capacity which can run all day.
Measurements – The smartphone has a thickness of 10 mm in thickness which is a bit higher considering the smartphone is smaller in size.
Android Marshmallow Penetration
Android Marshmallow currently runs on only 2.3% smartphones globally.
Moreover, Android KitKat has a share of 34%, and the number of devices running Android Lollipop is the highest with 36% share.
In another related occurrence, Lenovo has started rolling out the Android Marshmallow 6.0 update for its mid-range smartphone Lenovo K3 Note which was released last year.
Android Marshmallow is on 2.3% Mobiles.
The Android Marshmallow came to Nexus devices almost five months back and still the penetration of the Google’s current OS is minuscule. It is good to see some increase in the rollout of the Android Marshmallow which has so far been available mostly for some selected smartphones.
Lastly, Google has already shared the developer’s preview build for the Android N which is due to release in September 2016 for Nexus Devices.
Apple also took a dig on the low penetration of Android Marshmallow while 80% of Apple smartphones are on iOS 9.
