Nvidia GTX 1050 Powers the New Inspiron Laptops

Dell has unveiled new Laptops at CES 2017 and the biggest addition is the Nvidia GTX 1050. The Inspiron 14-inch and 15-inch models are much faster and come with improved gaming performance due to the new GPU.

Notably, the GTX 1050, GTX 1060, GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 use the cutting edge pascal architecture and offers great gaming performance.

For starters, the GTX 1050 is an ideal addition to the mainstream Inspiron laptops. The new graphics cards offer much better gaming performance in comparison to the Nvidia GTX 950M or even the GTX 960M. This graphics card offers performance closer to the desktop equivalents rather than the watered-down M variants on the earlier laptops.

Moreover, Nvidia is shipping almost 30 new laptops this year with the new GTX 10 series as per the recent news shared by the company.

Key Specs and Details Inspiron 2017

The Dell Inspiron will also feature the Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti which offers about 15 to 20% performance boost Vs the GTX 1050. Powering the new Laptops are the latest Intel kaby lake 7th generation processors – Core i5 7300HQ or Core i7 7700HQ. Further, these are Quad-Core processors, no so energy efficient but are ideal for the gaming Laptops.

There will be different resolution displays for the Dell Inspiron 14 and 15, ranging from Full HD to 4K on some of the models.

Notably, the top of the line Dell Inspiron 15 inch can also come with 512 GB PCie SSD support and other variants will feature HDD and SSD combo.

The Dell Inspiron 2017 model are equipped with DDR4 Ram and will be available with 16 GB RAM to support any level of multi-tasking and fluid gameplay.

Lastly, the laptops include USB Type C port and these will compete with the recently unveiled Lenovo Legion 720 and Y520 gaming Laptops.

Moreover, the Lenovo Legion laptops start at $899( Rs. 60,000), Dell Inspiron will be available $100 cheaper( Rs. 54,000). India pricing can be a different story.
