Realme has launched the new Realme X7 in the Indian market and it comes with impressive specs in the sub 20k price range.

The Realme X7 competes with the Xiaomi Mi 10i, Samsung Galaxy M51, and the Vivo V20 available in a similar price segment.

Realme X7

The waiting for the Realme X7 series in India is over. Yesterday(4 February 2021), Realme launched its X7 series in India recently and will go on sale on the Realme website and other channels soon.

It offers a 6.4 inch super AMOLED left align notch display, FHD+ (2400*1080) pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 409ppi pixel density along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-core processor fabricated on a 7nm chipset coupled with ARM Mali-G57 GPU.

If we talk about its operating system, the device runs on Realme UI based on Android 10.

The Realme X7 comes with a 6/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage(UFS 2.1) but does not support expandable storage.

For capturing images and shooting videos, it has a triple rear camera setup at the back with a 64MP standard camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

Additionally, it has a 16MP in-display selfie camera.

Lastly, it packs with a decent 4310 mAH capacity battery along with 50 Watts super Dart charging support.

The Realme X7 will available for purchase from 12 February 2021 at a price of Rs 19,999.

Vivo V20

Vivo launched its Vivo V20 smartphone on 30 September 2020 in India. Vivo V20 is one of the best smartphones launched by the company in the recent months.


The phone has a large 6.44 inch AMOLED waterdrop notch display along with 2400*1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 409ppi density, and shiny glass back gives it a cool look like any premium phone.

Powering the Vivo V20 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset which is fabricated on an 8nm chipset. Additionally, for a good gaming experience, it has an Adreno 618 GPU.

The Vivo V20 runs on a FuntouchOS 11 based on the latest Android 11.

Talking about its cameras, it comes with a triple camera setup at its back carrying a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor for clear and bright photos with some amazing photo modes, and 4k video recording support.

Additionally, it comes with a 44MP ultraclear selfie camera.

It is available in two storage variants – 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage along with a dedicated microSD card slot for expandable storage.

The Vivo V20 comes with a standard 4000mAH battery capacity along with 33 Watts fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy M51

Samsung’s M-series always deal in the mid-range phones. The Samsung Galaxy M51 joined the M-series on 31 August 2020 in India and it is one of the best seller phones from the brand in the 20k price range.

All, of the four phones, offer excellent specs and value for money. The Xiaomi Mi 10i has good cameras, battery life, and performance but lacks an AMOLED display that can be a deal-breaker for some buyers.

The Galaxy M51 is a great option if you want very long battery life and don’t mind the bulk. Also, it has decent cameras and has good after-sales support.

The Realme X7 comes with fast performance and also has a very fast charger. The cameras are above average and it also has 5G support.

Lastly, Vivo V20 comes with an incredible AMOLED display and has a very thin and sleek design that makes it easy to pocket and use with one hand. The smartphone has also got one of the best selfie cameras of the lot and can be a good purchase for those looking to click selfies for Social media.
