Fastrack, the fashion accessory company, after various talks, finally forays into the smart wearables segment. As the company launches a new smart activity tracker.

Dubbed as the Fastrack Reflex, the fitness tracker it comes with various color options. Also, you can change the band with a different color band, a nifty feature to help you match it with your clothes.

Further, it can perform all the necessary functions for health tracking, such as counting the number of hours slept, calories burnt, and total step count per day and several other things.

Moreover, the Reflex can wake you up from sleep. You can set up an alarm and it will help you wake up at the right time. Additionally, it can notify you about the phone calls and messages without a need to look at your phone. You can pair it with Android or an iOS device.

Fastrack claims that this activity tracker can last between 7 to 14 days on a single charge. However, this is less than the battery life of Mi Band 2.

Further, the tracker comes bundled with a micro USB cable and even has a micro USB port. Fastrack claims that it can be fully charged within one hour, and that’s a bonus.

Moreover, the Fastrack Reflex features only splash resistant properties, that means that you can’t go swimming with this tracker. That said, it can bear your sweat and some splashes.

Speaking at the launch of Fastrack Reflex, Somprabh Singh, Head of Design and Technology, Fastrack said as follows: “The Fastrack Reflex band was created with the youth in mind. to give them a seamless experience with our introduction into the wearable technology category.

“Based on insights derived, we have designed the product to cater to the needs of the today’s youth. A fashionable product that has a great battery life, you can even charge it quickly and at a price point that is relevant to the segment.”

“The product will have regular software updates that will help enhance the overall consumer experience. This is Fastrack’s first launch in this category, and we look forward to creating many exciting products moving forward.”

The Fastrack Reflex is available in all the offline stores of Fastrack and Titan stores. You can even buy the tracker from online retailers. 

Fastrack Reflex vs. Xiaomi Mi Band 2

Going by the pricing, the Fastrack Reflex rivals the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, available for Rs. 1999, and is an excellent value for money option.

However, the Mi Band 2 has some advanced features such as heart rate sensor, which is a passive option. It doesn’t record the heart rate all the time but only when required. Fastrack Reflex comes from the popular youth brand and may appeal to many Gen Y buyers.


Xiaomi has also recently launched a special Xiaomi Mi Band HRX edition, they have named the Fitness band after Hrithik Roshan who is a fitness enthusiast.
