Gionee’s latest smartphone Gionee Elife S7 will be launched in the Indian Market in April 1st Week and is expected cost around Rs. 24,000 ($ 390).
Moreover, it is premium looking and packs top-end features. Gionee’s new Elife S7 measures only 5.5 mm in thickness and uses a toughened aluminum-magnesium alloy frame which makes it sturdy. Besides, it has Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
For starters, the design is quite similar to the older models like Gionee Elife S 5.1. However, Gionee has increased the thickness in this smartphone to 5.5 mm. The bezels still are quite thin, and smartphone weighs only 126 grams which makes it easy to hold and use. Display

The front and the back of the device are both protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3.
Powering the phone is the latest processor from Mediatek 6752 which is an Octa-core 64 Bit SOC.

Additionally, there is essential 2 GB RAM to support the processor for multi-tasking. The GPU is 700 MHz ARM Mali-T760MP2 GPU, and the processor was able to score of about 35,000.

The Gionee Elife S7 has adequate battery life with the Non-removable Li-Ion 2750 mAh battery. The MediaTek 6752 is also quite energy efficient in comparison to the older generations.
The smartphone also has a 3.5 mm jack for listening to audio and offers Dolby Sound. It will be interesting to see the pricing for the Gionee Elife S7 in India once it launches in the first week of April.
In conclusion, it looks great with all the specs and features it packs, the processor is good, 13 Mp & 8 MP camera, 2 GB RAM and a 1080p display with adequate battery size. It is a complete package the only low point is the 16 GB storage which is also sufficient for most users. We will update more once it hits the shelves.
