Gionee has launched the new Gionee F103 smartphone in the Indian market for an attractive price point of Rs. 9,999.
Gionee F103 competes with the sub 10K smartphones like the Xiaomi Redmi 2, Honor 4x, Yureka Plus and Lenovo K3 Note.
The smartphone is the first Sub 10K smartphone which is launched by Gionee in India with 4G LTE.
Gionee India CEO Mr. Arvind Vohra commented at the launch and said they don’t want to compete with the cheaper products and don’t want to dilute the product offerings. Gionee wants to maintain the product quality and hence has been focusing on the mid-range segment rather than offering low price low-cost mobiles.
Gionee F 103 has a 5.0-inch display and has an HD resolution (1280*720) with 323 PPI.
The IPS display comes with the Dragon trail glass protection to reduce scratches and wear and tear.
The smartphone runs on the Amigo 3.0 UI along with the latest Android OS – Lollipop 5.0. Powering the device is a MediaTek Quad Core 64 Bit processor MTK 6735 clocked at 1.3 GHz.
The device has 2 GB of RAM which is adequate for multitasking and running games on the Gionee F103. The Gionee F 103 comes with 8 Megapixel camera with auto-focus and led flash; aperture size is f/2.2.
The front camera is also decent with 5 Megapixel lens, suitable for selfie lovers.
The internal storage is 16 GB, and it can also be expanded to 32 GB with use of a micro-sd card. The smartphone has a 2400 mAH battery capacity, which is adequate to run it all day.
The Dual Sim phone will be available in pearl white, dawn white, and black colors.
The Gionee F 103 will be available in retail as well as online for sale, Gionee is one brand which doesn’t believe in flash sales and online model. They embrace the retail and channel partners credit goes to Gionee India CEO for this strategy.
