Gionee has launched a new mid-range smartphone with long battery life and sleek frame. The Gionee F5 comes with a 4000 mAH capacity battery and has a thickness of 7.7 mm. It is sleek for the battery capacity and has an uncommon 5.3-inch screen size.
The smartphone comes with a premium metallic build, with 2.5 D curve glass and is priced at CNY 1799 or Rs 18,000.
The smartphone is available only in China and will come in Gold and Rose Gold color only. The other highlight of Gionee F5 is the presence of 4 GB ram and 32 GB internal storage.
The smartphone is powered by Mediatek 6750 Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and comes with Mali T860 MP GPU.
The Gionee F5 has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home front home button. The front panel is white in color and resembles rival Oppo phones. There are capacitative buttons at the front and speaker is located at the back.

It also does not come with the latest Operating system from Google the Android Nougat 7.0, which is also a big let down.
Though the phone has a large battery with 4000 mAH capacity, overall it is not an enticing option.
