The much anticipated Dual Camera Honor V8, 5.7-inch display with 4 GB ram finally got unveiled yesterday in China.
Huawei last week launched the Huawei Honor 5C and before that they have launched the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus which also comes with a Dual Rear camera setup.
The Dual Rear Camera seems to be the cutting edge technology which future smartphones are going to use to improve the image quality considering a single lens has its own limitations and space constraints on a smartphone to add a large single lens.
Huawei paved the way for Dual camera lens system with P9 which was developed by partnering with Leica (german camera manufacturer). Even Apple iPhone 7 is allegedly going to use the Dual camera setup.
Honor being the sister concern of Huawei has also launched the V8 with flagship specs and very affordable pricing (a strength that Huawei has leveraged in becoming popular world-wide).
Honor have released three variants of V8 and differentiation factors are display resolution , storage and availability of NFC. Other specs and design is same for all the 3 variants.

The Huawei V8 comes with a large display measuring 5.7 inches and the first two variants with 1080p full HD has a pixel density of 386 PPI.
The more expensive Quad HD display model also have a 5.7-inch display offers incredible 515 PPI. All the three variants use the 2.5 D curve arc glass which makes the display more smooth and gorgeous.
The Honor V8 runs on the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box with rich customization featured EMUI 4.1 skin over it.
The Huawei V8 sports dual 12 MP camera (without Leica branding) with laser autofocus and f/2.2 aperture and BSI sensor along with dual tone LED flash. There is laser autofocus to improve the focus speed.
While one sensor collects black and white picture the second sensor collects color details. Both fuse the picture together to give crisp detailed results. The front camera has a good 8MP lens which comes with f/2.4 aperture quite similar to the Huawei P9.
The processor is no slouch either, it runs on their in-house developed Kirin 950 Octa-core processor (4xCortex-A72 + 4xCortex-A53 clusters) along with 4 GB ram.
It includes 3G/4G LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth and USB, sensors including gravity sensor, proximity sensor and notification led light.
Huawei Honor V8 also comes with the USB Type C port for charging and connectivity.
Honor V8 has a massive 3500mah battery capacity to power the smartphone along with fast charging capability through USB type-C.
