New HP Pavilion 13, 14, 15 UltraBooks (Intel 11th Gen, 16 GB Ram)

In this article, we are checking out all the new HP Pavilion Laptops available in India. HP has updated the Pavilion Laptop series with the latest Intel 11th Gen laptop processor. The laptops were launched in India with a narrow bezel design and with the option of either Integrated or dedicated NVIDIA GPUs.

The new laptops launched are HP Pavilion 13, HP Pavilion 14, and HP Pavilion 15. These are aimed at working professionals and home buyers.

The company stated that these are the first series of Notebooks that use post-consumer recycled and ocean-bound plastics. The laptops are EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) Silver registered, and Energy Star certified.

The outer boxes and fiber cushions used in the devices are 100% recyclable and sustainably sourced.

All three models have a 3D seamless metal body with a sleek and clean look. The display comes with three-sided micro-edge bezels.

They all have an edge-to-edge keyboard and a larger trackpad. Additionally, there is a fingerprint scanner for faster access.

The ports comprise USB Type-C, 2* USB Type-A, HDMI 2.0, headphone/mic combo, and a MicroSD card slot. The connectivity option includes WiFi ac and BlueTooth 5.

Let’s first start with the new HP Pavilion 13, and then we will dig into other laptops in the pavilion series.

HP Pavilion 13 – 16 GB RAM, Core i5, 512 GB SSD

The device runs on Windows 10 operating system. It features 13.3 inches FHD display (1920* 1080p) and has 250 nits of peak brightness.

Pavilion 13 is powered by Intel 11th gen Core i5 processor (Intel Core i5-1135G7) a 4 Core and 4 threads processor, up to 4.2 GHz Clock Speed, and with 8 MB of Cache.

Notably, the Intel 11th Gen Core i5 processor offers excellent single-core performance and is way ahead of Ryzen 4000 series and Intel 10th Gen processors.

It is paired with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD storage. This laptop includes integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. This machine has a 43 WHr lithium-ion battery with 65 W. The battery capacity is not huge, and we can expect around 5 to 6 hours of battery life on a single charge in practical usage.

The company claims that the battery has up to 8.5 hours of battery life. The laptop has dual speakers. Further, It has a 720p HD camera with HP TrueVision and integrated dual array digital microphones for better audio quality.

Additionally, the laptop is very thin and lightweight – (1.24 kg) only. It is highly portable and you can easily carry it anywhere.

The HP Pavilion 13 laptops’ price in India starts from INR 72,999 and is available in Ceramic White and Silver colors.

HP Pavilion Aero 13 – AMD Ryzen 5600, 16 GB RAM

Recently, HP updated the Pavilion Notebooks by introducing the lightweight – HP Pavilion Aero-13.

The laptop runs on the latest AMD Ryzen CPU and Radeon GPU and offers stellar performance and sleek design. It is a better notebook than the Pavilion 13 mentioned above.

Let’s discuss the specifications and features in detail:

The notebook comes with a 13.3 inches WUXGA (1920*1200) IPS anti-glare display with 400 nits peak brightness and 100% sRGB. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio to help with productive tasks.

Additionally, it has a 90% screen-to-body ratio and is manufactured using post-consumer recycled and ocean-bound plastics.

Under the hood, it is powered by an AMD Ryzen processor and is paired with an AMD Radeon Graphics card to handle the intensive visual tasks.

Pavilion Aero offers two great processor configurations as follows:

  1. AMD Ryzen 5 5600U with 6 cores/ 12 threads and 16 MB L3 cache memory. It has a 2.3 GHz base clock speed and up to 4.2 GHz maximum frequency.
  2. AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor with 8 cores/16 threads and 16 MB L3 cache. It clocks at 1.9 GHz and can be boosted up to 4.4 GHz.

It runs Windows 10 Home operating system and has a pre-installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019. Moreover, the laptop pairs 16 GB DDR4 RAM (3200 MHz) and 512 GB PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD storage.

The machine packs a 3-cell 45 Whr battery that can last for 5-6 hours. It supports fast charging with a 65W adapter. Further, it weighs only 970 grams (less than 1 kg).

The port section includes – USB Type-C, 2* USB Type-A, HDMI 2.0, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. For wireless connectivity, it supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2.

It has dual speakers that offer an immersive sound experience.

The laptop comprises a 720p HD webcam. It has a fingerprint reader.

Availability and Pricing:

The HP Pavilion Aero 13 notebook is priced at INR 69,999 (Ryzen 5) and INR 87,999 (Ryzen 7). It is available in Pale Rose Gold, Ceramic White, and Natural Silver shades.

Next, let’s check out the new HP Pavilion 14 laptop with Intel Core i7 and 16 gigs of Ram.

HP Pavilions’ Core-i5 model is available on Amazon with 512 GB SSD storage and 16 GB DDR4 RAM. This model is powered by an Intel 11th Gen Core-i5- 1135G7 processor that clocks up to 4.2 GHz boost speed. It has four cores and eight threads with 8 MB L3 cache memory. Both the Core i5 and Core i7 are Quad-Core processors but the Core i7 has a higher clock speed and more Cache.

You will not experience too much difference for most daily tasks, but multi-tasking and some heavy applications will be slightly faster on the Core i7. This HP Pavilion Intel Core i5 model is available at the price tag of INR 66,990.

The above-mentioned laptop is also available with the Nvidia MX 450 Graphics card. The rest of the specs are the same as above. The Nvidia MX 450 has a 2 GB GDDR5 VRAM that offers better graphics performance than the Intel Iris Xe. The laptop with the Nvidia Graphics card is better suited for professionals who have some applications utilizing the GPU. Also, it is better for casual gaming.

The MX 450 and Intel Core i5 model is available for Rs. 75,990.

The 14 Inch HP Pavilion is also available with the AMD Ryzen processor and with similar specs and design as the Intel model.

HP Pavilion 14 Laptop – AMD Ryzen 5 – Price – 59,990

The 14 inches HP Pavilion is also available with a powerful and reliable AMD processor.

This model comes loaded with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor that has a maximum boost speed of up to 4.0 GHz. Also, it has 6 cores and 12 threads architecture with 8 MB L3 cache memory.

The notebook can be upgraded to Windows 11 free of cost. Further, it packs AMD Radeon graphics. Moreover, it pairs 16 GB RAM with 3200 MHz frequency and 512 GB SSD storage.

Considering the specs it is a crazy good deal for the price.

The next laptop on our list is a convertible (2-in-1) that works as a tablet and a notebook.

HP Pavilion X360 laptop (14-dy0186TU) runs on the 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1125G4 processor that clocks up to 3.7 GHz. Also, it has 4 cores, 8 threads, 2 GHz base clock speed, and 8 MB L3 cache memory.

Additionally, the touch-enabled display comes with 14 inches of size. It has an FHD (1920*1080) panel with 250 nits brightness, 45% NTSC color gamut, and IPS technology. Also, it runs Windows 10 Home OS.

The notebook pairs 8 GB DDR4 RAM (3200 MHz), expandable up to 16 GB. It has 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD for storage. Moreover, there is support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The port section includes HDMI, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and a combo jack. Also, the device has a fingerprint reader and built-in Alexa.

If you are looking for an affordable NoteBook with a touch screen and the latest Intel 11th Gen processor – the HP Pavilion x360 is an excellent choice.

The laptop has FHD 14 inches touchscreen display and a 360- degree hinge. It offers 250 nits brightness, a 45% NTSC color gamut, and an IPS panel. The laptop has an edge-to-edge bezel-free design and can be used as a tablet utilizing the touch screen to the fullest.

HP Pavilion 14 laptop comes with 14 inches FHD (1920*1080p) display. It has an IPS panel with anti-glare technology. The laptop owns a 45% NTSC color gamut, 250 nits brightness, and 157 PPI.

Powering the Notebook is the new 11th Gen Intel Core-i7 1165G7 processor, with a base clock speed of 3.5 GHz and up to 4.7 GHz of Turbo boost.

Additionally, we have an Intel Iris Xe Graphics card. The device runs on Windows 10 Home (Lifetime validity) and has Alexa in-built.

The Pavilion 14 has sufficient ram for multi-tasking – 16 GB DDR4 memory (3200 MHz). Moreover, there is plenty of space for storage as the Notebook comes with a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The machine is a performance beast when it comes to any non-gaming application.

With the new 11th Gen processors you will experience faster loading time for all Apps like Chrome, MS-office, and other productivity apps.

The 11th Gen from Intel is a good step up from the 10th Gen Laptops and I will recommend you to go with the 11th Gen machines if you are buying a new Intel processor-based laptop.

It has a 65W battery with fast charging support. It has up to 8.5 hours of battery life span. The dual speakers come with Audio boost technology. The Notebook weighs 1.41 kg and features a fingerprint reader. Also, it comes with an ergonomic backlit keyboard.

HP Pavilion 14 laptop costs INR 79,990 in India. It is available in Ceramic White, Silver, and Tranquil Pink color.

Let’s now check the 15 Inch HP Pavilion that is available with the latest Intel 11th Gen and the AMD Ryzen 5 processors.

HP Pavilion 15 (15-eg1000TU) laptop comes with a bigger 15.6 inches FHD (1920*1080p) anti-glare micro-edge display. Also, it has 250 nits brightness, 141 PPI, 45% NTSC, and an IPS panel.

Notably, the laptop runs on the latest Windows 11 Home operating system and Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019. The device weighs 1.75 kg and measures a dimension of 360*234*18 mm.

Powering the machine is a fast Intel 11th Gen Core i5-1155G7 processor that clocks at 2.50 GHz and can boost up to 4.2 GHz with maximum speed. In addition, it has 4 cores and 8 threads architecture with 8 MB L3 cache memory.

The Ryzen 5500U has 6 cores and eight threads with an 8 MB L3 cache. The CPU can clock up to 4.0 GHz at maximum speed.

Notably, the machine runs the latest Windows 11 with lifetime validity.

Further, it pairs 16 GB DDR4 (3200 MHz) RAM and 512 GB NVMe SSD storage. Also, it holds AMD Radeon graphics for graphical tasks.

Considering the price, the laptop offers excellent specs and is worth buying.
