The latest entry to the ProBook series is the 635 Aero G7, which comes with Risen 4000 series processors and offers superb performance, and is meant for professionals looking to get the most out of their machines.

Ryzen ProBook 635 Aero G7 ( Specs, Price, and Features)

The ProBook 635 Aero G7 is available in two variants:

  1. 16 GB Ram and Ryzen 4700U – Price Rs. 116,990
  2. 8 GB Ram and Ryzen 4500U – Price Rs. 103,990.

Display and Design

The ProBook 635 Aero G7 comes with a 13.3-inch display and offers Full HD (1920*1080) pixels resolution and with an insane 1000 nits of maximum brightness.

The display panel offers 72% of NTSC color gamut or 100% of sRGB color space. The display on this machine seems incredibly good.

The laptop has a metallic build and is extremely lightweight – 0.99 kg. It is even lighter than the Apple MacBook Air and is ideal for users looking for an ultra-portable machine. It is quite thin and measures 17.9 mm.

Performance

The base version is powered by the AMD Ryzen 4500U processor with 6 Cores, 4.0 Ghz of Boost clock speed, and 8 Mb of L3 Cache.  The base version has 8 GB of DDR4 ram with 3200 MHz clock speed and has 2 SODIMM slots.

The higher variant comes with the AMD Risen 4700U processor offering 8 Cores and 8 threads with 4.1 GHz of Max Boost clock speed. Also, there is 16 GB of DDR4 Ram with a 3200 MHz clock speed. Also, there are 2 SODIMM slots. HP has not clarified if the Ram on these machines is upgradeable.

Both the machines run on the Windows 10 Pro 64Bit OS.

Considering the price difference is not too much between both the models, I will suggest you get the higher version or can check with HP customer support if the Ram is expandable on the lower model.

The 8 GB ram may feel less if you want the machine to be extremely fast when using multiple Apps.

Ports

Both versions come with 512 GB of NVMe SSD. Unlike the Apple MacBook Air and Pro, these new HP laptops offer plenty of ports – 2 USB A and 1 USB C port and 1 headphone/microphone combo; 1 HDMI 2.0; 1 AC power port.

Keyboard, Wifi, WebCam, and Battery

The Notebook comes with a spill-resistant premium keyboard, with backlighting and ergonomic keys.

The trackpad is also responsive and easy to use and comes with multi-gesture support.

There is a 720p HD Webcam for video calls and meetings. Furthermore, the laptop has support for WIFI 6 and also has Bluetooth 5.0.

The laptop comes with the standard barrel character with 65 Watts output that can charge the battery from 0-50% in just 30 minutes. There is a 53 Whr battery capacity that is sufficient to offer a battery back-up of 10 hours.

Competition Offerings

Considering rivals like the Apple MacBook Air, Dell XPS 13, and the Dell Inspiron doing well, HP wants to launch new thin laptops that can meet business professionals’ requirements.

The Apple M1 Processor is revolutionary, and even the AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors are impressive. Many buyers have now understood that they’re getting a better deal when buying a non-Intel based laptop.

HP and other brands are very late to offer good Ryzen laptops to people, and there is a shortage of good productivity machines using Risen processors.

Also, Dell is another company that will suffer as they are still not offering Risen processor with the XPS and Inspiron laptops.

HP ProBook 440 G7 and HP ProBook 445 G7

You can read more about these two HP Probook Notebooks on the official HP website. I would not recommend buying these as the two lower models come with a terrible display offering 1366*720 pixels resolution.

These are available for a price tag of Rs. 59,000 to 81,990, and I don’t think the poor display makes these notebooks worth buying for anyone.

HP ProBook x360 435 G7 Notebook

The HP ProBook x360 435 G7 is another machine that is available for Rs. 90,990 and comes AMD Ryzen 4500U processor.

The laptop doesn’t come with pre-installed Windows 10. Instead, HP is shipping it with DOS, which is bad considering the price tag.

It is a convertible machine and comes with a touch display.

Also, HP has not mentioned any details about the display for the notebook, and you will have to get in touch with them to know what exactly are they shipping with this machine.

The Notebook weighs 1.6 Kg and comes with 8 GB DDR4 Ram with 3200 MHz clock speed. It has a backlit keyboard and also comes with a 720p HD Webcam.

Furthermore, it has 512 GB of NVMe SSD.

So, that’s all about the latest HP ProBook Series laptops that are currently available in India. If anyone from HP or their PR team is reading the article, I will request to add more details to your website to ensure buyers have complete information before making a purchase.
