HTC Bolt To Offer 18 MP Rear Camera Android Nougat

HTC Bolt images have been leaked by the popular tipster Evan Blass on twitter, and it showcases an HTC 10 like the design, with a metallic build and sharp chamfered edges.

HTC 10 is the flagship smartphone by HTC for 2016 and is already available for purchase in India priced at Rs. 42,999, after a recent price cut.

The above image was leaked by Evan Blass, and it showcases a large camera dial at the back of the smartphone which is alleged to have an 18 MP camera lens and will come with f/2.0 aperture.

The HTC 10, on the other hand, comes with a 12 MP rear camera and f/1.8 aperture. Despite both the smartphones have design similarities there are subtle changes done by HTC on the coming Bolt 10.

For starters, it is expected to have a larger display with 5.5 Inch screen and will have Full HD resolution, in comparison the HTC 10 has 5.2 Inch Quad HD Display.

The HTC Bolt is expected to come with 3 GB of ram and will likely have 32 GB  storage and micro-card support.

The other key highlight for the HTC Bolt is that it will run the latest Google OS Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.  It will be the first HTC smartphone which will come with the Android Nougat and HTC Sense 8.0 UI.

You can argue that the first HTC phones are the Pixel and Pixel XL with Android Nougat, of course, we can say that too.

The HTC Bolt comes with a  fingerprint scanner at the front embedded in the Home Button similar to the HTC 10.

No Headphone Jack – It is not a surprise anymore, and the HTC Bolt is also not going with the conventional 3.5 mm jack.  The iPhone 7 has started to show its impact on the Android smartphone manufacturers.

The HTC Bolt comes with the USB Type C port, and it will feature a similar tech like the LeECo phones with CDLA to offer digital music experience.

A turbulent time for headphone manufacturers, they too would have to switch to the lighting and USB type C ports for future headphones, and also a necessity to keep a 3.5 mm jack model too.

HTC Bolt is going to be a high-end smartphone but not a flagship; it can feature a Snapdragon 652 processor like the HTC 10 Lifestyle model.

The Smartphone is expected to come with 3250 mAH battery capacity which will be sufficient to keep it running all day.

The HTC BOLT is expected to launch in November 2016, though the details are hazy at the moment, I will keep you posted.  Have a great day and share your thoughts in the comments below.
