HTC has launched 2 new smartphones for upper mid-range smartphone buyers – HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and HTC Desire 10 Pro.
HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle while is already on sale, in the Indian market.
The mobile is available for Rs. 15,990 and is already listed on the HTC official website. While the HTC Desire 10 Pro will go on sale in mid-December.
It was unveiled in India today (24th November 2016) at an event held by HTC in New Delhi and costs Rs. 26,490.
Both HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and PRO has a similar design with shiny metallic edges and a matte finish body likely made from high-quality polycarbonate material.
The HTC Desire 10 Pro comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back to distinguish it from the Desire 10 Lifestyle.
Both the mobiles are available in 4 color options – stone black, polar white, royal blue, Valentine lux (greenish blue).
Also, these come with High resolution 24 Bit Audio enhancement to please the Audiophiles. Additionally, there is a boom sound speaker at the bottom of the device along with the micro USB port for charging.
HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle
The phone is already available and costs Rs. 15,990. For starters, it comes with 5.5-inch screen size and offers HD display with 1280*720 pixels and has a 267 PPI. Besides, the display has Gorilla Glass coating and comes with IPS LCD screen.
It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which has a maximum clock speed of 1.6 GHz. Also, the phone comes in two variants based on ram and storage capacity.
It is available in 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage variant and there is a 3 GB Ram and 32 GB model. Both the models have support for micro-sd card up to 2 TB.
The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture lens, autofocus support, and HDR mode.
For clicking selfies, there is a 5 Megapixel front camera with f/2.8 aperture and with features like Auto Selfie, selfie timer, and live beautification.
The battery life is decent as it comes with a 2770 mAH battery capacity and also supports fast charging.
The mobile runs on the Android Marshmallow OS and has HTC Sense UI. Lastly, it has support for 4G LTE as well as has NFC.
It measures 7.7 mm in thickness and has 155-gram weight.
HTC Desire 10 Pro
HTC Desire 10 Pro comes with more profound specs with a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device which is missing on the Lifestyle variant.
The phone costs Rs. 26,490 and will go on sale online as well as offline in mid-December.
The HTC Desire 10 Pro has a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution (1920*1080) pixels and 401 PPI. The Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display.
The major upgrade Vs the Desire 10 Lifestyle is the Helio P10 processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.8 GHz. The smartphone comes in 4 GB RAM / 64 GB of internal storage variant
Also, it comes with micro-sd card support up to 2 TB. HTC actually launched a lower variant with 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage in the global market but has not launched that in the Indian market.
The smartphone comes with a better camera with 20 Mega Pixel lens, with f/2.2 aperture and HDR mode. The camera at the back has a very big lens opening if you observe the above image carefully.
The front camera is also superb with 13 Megapixel resolution and capable of clicking detailed selfies.
It even has support for NFC as well as the 4G LTE /VOLTE. The HTC Desire 10 Pro comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS along with HTC Sense and also has a large battery with 3000 mAH capacity.
Lastly, it has a 7.86 mm thickness and weighs 165 grams.
HTC launched the HTC 10 in the Indian market in July 2016, priced at Rs. 52999 which is HTC Flagship smartphone and recently has also dropped the price by Rs. 10,000.
