HTC recently launched the HTC U Ultra with Glass back cover Snapdragon 821 and virtual assistant. Business scenario for HTC is becoming difficult with competition eating into their share.
They are battling Apple and Samsung at the high end which is way ahead and in mid-range companies like Xiaomi and OnePlus are taking away the share.
The new sales graph indicated a very slow but steady growth due to their flagship HTC 10 in Q4 of 2016. But as per a recent report, HTC need to launch more smartphones and they need at least 6 more smartphones to cope up and fight with its competitors. HTC is doing exactly that and would be coming with some new smartphone models in the coming months.
KEY SPECS HTC ONE X10
Now, there are rumors of a new HTC One X10 on the internet. The mobile is a successor to the “City Smart” phone aka One X9.
The new HTC One X10 still flaunts the sturdy all aluminum body which has been an HTC Forte for years.
The X10 has a front which might look similar like its predecessor but lacks the iconic front facing boom sound speakers.
The back retains its flat design language with slight tapered edges meeting the flat sides. Noticeably, there is presence of a camera bump and a round fingerprint sensor.
Speaking of the camera sensor, it has been replaced from the top left corner to the center like it’s bigger sibling HTC 10.
The HTC One X10 is rumored to flaunt a 5.5 inch FHD (1080*1920) display. There’s no confirmation about the use of AMOLED panel as of yet.
Powering the phone is the Mediatek 6755 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz. Which don’t sound like an upgrade compared to it’s predecessor One X9’s MediaTek 6795 SOC clocked at 2.2 GHz.
The processor is paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of on-board storage.
Since it’s a HTC device, there’s a higher chance of storage expansion option along with “Adoptable Storage” feature. Which basically, combines the SD card storage with the internal storage of your phone.
The X10 would also see an upgrade in the optics section as well. It’ll feature a 16 MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and 8 MP selfie shooter.
Rest of the details about the HTC One X10 are hazy at the moment. We’ll be back with more information about the device as some more little birds sing about it. Stay Tuned.
HTC has actually launched the HTC 10 mobile and it is a flagship phone which competes with the Samsung S7 and S7 Edge. The HTC 10 comes with a metallic build and Quad HD Display which offers great viewing experience.
