We earlier reported complete details specs, design and PROs & Cons for Huawei Honor 6 Plus – Read Here.

Huawei Honor 4X was launched last year in China and is now brought to Indian market to target the budget segment especially the pricing is kept in between the Motorola Moto G2 and Micromax Yu Yureka Smartphone.

It is a dual Sim smartphone and offers 4G, 3G, 2G support, you can actually use both the sims as 4G or 3G with the Huawei Honor 4X. The Honor 4X has this unique capability where you can use both the sims with high speed data otherwise most 4G smartphone’s second sim is a 2G sim.

The Honor 4X is equipped with a 64-bit processor Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 and is powered by Adreno 306 GPU for all the gaming needs. It has 2 GB RAM which makes it super-fast for multi tasking and you can easily swap the applications without feeling any lag on the device.

The smartphone has 8 GB internal storage which can be expanded to 32 GB using a micro SD card.

Operating System

The smartphone runs on android Kitkat 4.4 with Emotion 3.0 UI which is really fluid in comparison to the Emotion 2.0 U.I.  The Huawei UI removes the app drawer from the Android system and is more like the Apple iOS in terms of look and feel, however underneath have an Android soul.

The key highlight of Honor 4X is it’s 13 MP camera which is slightly better compared to the Micromax Yu Yureka camera, Yu Yureka camera is good in daylight but indoors and at night makes the pictures very grainy, we tested it at night and found image quality unsatisfactory. The camera is good for Honor 4X but not as good as you have in the Honor 6 or 6 Plus.

The 5 MP camera on the Honor X is also a 5 MP shooter and offers slightly better images compared to the Yu Yureka which has a similar 5 MP resolution camera.

If you love to take photos with your smartphone you will be glad with the performance of Huawei Honor 4X in the Rs. 10,000 range.

Screen Size & Resolution

The Honor 4X also is a 5.5 inch smartphone like the micromax yu yureka with a similar 1280*720 p screen offering 267 PPI pixel density.  The screen for micromax Yureka is over saturated with colors and seem un-natural even after turning off the enhance colors option in the settings.  Huawei Honor 4X screen is less saturated and offers better display.

Size Dimensions Weight

The smartphone has 77.3 x 151.9 x 8.7 mm measurements, at 8.7 mm thickness it is neither very thick nor very thin. The weight of honor 4X is 170 grams.

Battery capacity

It has adequate battery capacity with 3000 mAh lithium polymer battery which is good to last full day with a single charge.

Honor 4X is a very good smartphone however it is slightly expensive compared to the Micromax Yu Yureka which may be a reason to go with Yureka, however if you are more into photography and would not like to go with Micromax, Honor 4X is an excellent choice. Motorola Moto G2 is still the best though expensive, due to user experience, premium build quality and after sales service of Motorola.
