Huawei has launched a new budget smartphone in China priced at CNY 799 or Rs. 7500 which comes with a metallic unibody design. Huawei has previously launched the Huawei Honor 6X and Huawei Honor 5X in the Indian market.
The Honor 6A looks superb for a budget mobile and comes with all the essential features. The smartphone comes with a neat front without any physical buttons. At the back, there is a metallic cover, while the top and bottom sides are made of poly-plastic to improve the cellular reception.
There is a fingerprint scanner located at the back of the device for quick unlocking. The Honor 6A comes in 2 variants:
Huawei Honor 6A – 2 GB RAM / 16 GB Storage – Price Rs. 7500
Huawei Honor 6A – 3 GB RAM / 32 GB Storage – Price Rs. 9500
The smartphone will be available in Gold, Silver, Blue and Pink colours in China from JD.com and Vmall.com from June 1.
The Honor 6A is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (Octa-Core, 64 Bit, 28 Nm) processor and comes with the Adreno 505 GPU. The processor is clocked at 1.7 GHz to ensure faster performance.
The Huawei Honor 6A comes with latest Android Nougat 7.0 operating system along with the EMUI 5.1 custom UI from Huawei.
The mobile has a 5.0-inch display and comes with HD (1280*720) pixels resolution along with the 2.5 D curve glass. The Honor 6A has got 13 Megapixel rear camera with 5P lens and features like HDR and Full HD video recording support along with autofocus and LED Flash.
At the front side, there is a 5 Megapixel selfie camera to entice the selfie lovers. Though there is no dedicated flash at the front.
Both the variants come with expandable storage which can be expanded to 128 GB using the micro-sd card slot.
The Huawei Honor 6A comes with 4G LTE support along with native connectivity options like WIFI / 3G / 2G and Bluetooth. The smartphone has got 3020 mAH capacity battery which is sufficient to last all day.
The Huawei Honor 6A weighs 143 grams and has a thickness of 8.2 mm. So far the device is available in China, and there is no word on the India launch of Honor 6A.
But considering the fact that Huawei has a weak presence in the budget segment in Indian market they may like to launch this device to combat the Xiaomi Redmi 4. Xiaomi sold 2.5 lakh Redmi 4 devices in the first sale.
