Huawei is a well-known brand in the Indian market, and the firm is now looking to capture more market share. At a recent event in China, the company has announced the new range of Matebook(laptop) and a bunch of phones.
In India, Huawei uses the Honor sub-brand to launch budget mobiles. In other markets, they don’t use the Honor moniker.
Yesterday, Huawei launched the Huawei Y6 (2017) with entry-level specs, and it fits between the Y3 (2017) and Y7.
Huawei Y6 II Specs and Details
Huawei did not reveal the price of the phone, which is expected to be released in coming days. The device will be available in White, Gray, and White colors.
For starters, The Huawei Y6 (2017) runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based customised user interface- EMUI 4.1. That’s a disappointment as other phones are coming with latest Android Nougat OS on board.
Further, the highlight of the Huawei Y6 II is the 13MP rear camera working in tandem with a LED flash. There’s a 5MP front-facing camera that also has support for LED flash. Of late, Huawei is making good camera phones, and the Huawei Y6 (2017) may join that list.
Notably, the Y6 (2017) sports a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and a 2.5D curved glass layered on top. The device is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset with 2GB of RAM.
Also, for storing media, it offers 16 GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It has connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB OTG.
The Y6 (2017) measures 143.8×72.0x8.5mm and has a weighs 150 grams. The sensors on the smartphone include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, and ambient light sensor.
Lastly, this dual-sim Huawei phone comes with a 3000 mAh battery and even offers fast charging technology.
More Phones Launched By Huawei
Apart from the Y6 II, Huawei has debuted the Huawei Y7 (2017). That has a 5.5-inch HD screen with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels (2.5D curved glass on top). It runs on the Snapdragon 435 SoC, 2GB of RAM, Adreno 406 GPU.
Earlier this month, Huawei even launched the Huawei Y3 (2017) and Y7 smartphones in its homeland China. But these phones company has launched in China. On the other hand, in India, Huawei has introduced the Huawei Honor Holly 4 and Huawei Honor 6X.
