Reliance Jio has been a sensation in India with attractive data plans and free LTE services. The Mukesh Ambani-owned company from September 2016 to March 31, 2017, offered complete free 4G services for all the customers in India. Also, the brand achieved 100 million subscribers in just 172 days from the date of commercial roll out of services to general public.
After the completion of free services, Reliance Jio launched Dhan Dhana Dhan offer of two plans Rs. 309 and Rs. 509, along with JioPrime membership plan. Also, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), the parent company of Jio launched new JioFi hotspot devices to gain the modem market share.
All these days, Jio offered same Dhan Dhana Dhan plans for JioFi customers as well. But with the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer set to expire in the next two weeks, the company has now rolled out new plans for new JioFi customers.
Reliance Jio is currently offering four schemes for JioFi customers of Rs. 149, Rs. 309, Rs. 509, and Rs. 999. And the plans offer 2GB data, 1GB data per day, 2GB data per day, and 120GB data for 84 days.
The modified plans offer the same benefits, but there’s a huge change in the validity though.
The Rs. 149 plan now gives 2 GB data per for 12 months, which refers to 24 GB data for 12 months at just Rs. 149.
Rs. 309 plan now gives 1 GB data per day for six months (28 days is the recharge cycle), referring to a total of 168 GB data.
Rs. 509 plan now gives 2 GB data per day for four months (28 days is the recharge cycle) (=112 days * 2 GB data = 224 GB), converting to a total of 224 GB data.
Finally, the Rs. 999 plan provides 120 GB data for 56 days, from the usual 28 days validity.
Also, make a note that these plans are valid for only new JioFi users, who also get a new Jio SIM card along with the JioFi hotspot device. After purchasing a new 4G SIM card and JioFi device, customers must recharge with the JioPrime subscription of Rs. 99 to enjoy the extra benefits.
The JioFi and JioFi 2 hotspot device cost Rs. 1999 at the moment and can be purchased at all the Reliance Digital stores and online portals such as Amazon India, Flipkart, and AJio.com.
Jio has reduced the price of the JioFi M2S Hotspot Device to Rs 999 as a festive offer which you check out in this post.
