Latest Infocus Mobile Launch India – Turbo 5 Plus, Snap4, Turbo 5

Infocus the American mobile brand has launched the new Infocus Turbo 5 Plus smartphone in the Indian market today. The original Infocus Turbo 5 was launched in late June 2017 by the company. Infocus also launched the budget smartphone Infocus Snap4 which comes with 4 cameras.

The smartphone brand is also looking for a retail expansion with reach upto 35000 retail outlets by the year end, said Dr. Luo Zhongsheng, Global CEO of Infocus and Sharp.

The new Turbo 5 Plus is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will go on sale on Amazon India, midnight on September 21.

The new Infocus Turbo 5 Plus comes with a Dual camera setup at the back with one sensor with 13 Megapixel rear camera (f/2.0 aperture) while the other sensor has a 5 Megapixel camera, similar to the Lenovo K8 Plus which was launched few days back. The turbo 5 plus also boasts of a very large battery capacity.

The Dual rear camera comes with one wide angle lens and other standard lens and can take shots with Bokeh effect.

The front selfie camera on the smartphone is a 5 megapixel shooter without a dedicated LED flash.

The Infocus Turbo 5 Plus comes with a metallic design which looks lot like the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. The smartphone comes with unibody frame and has a front home button which also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.

The Infocus Turbo 5 Plus comes with a 5.5 Inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution(1280*720) pixels and also has the 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone is powered by the aging Mediatek 6750 Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and comes with the Mali T860 GPU.

The turbo 5 plus comes with 3 GB of ram and runs on the latest Android Nougat 7 OS from Google.

The smartphone has got 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded by another 32GB using the micro-sd card slot.

The Infocus Turbo 5 Plus weighs 176 grams and has a thickness of 8.95 mm.

Budget smartphones are getting fancy, and if you are looking for something really fancy with a lot of cameras you can give the new Infocus Snap4 a try.

The Infocus Snap4 was launched today along with the Infocus Turbo 5 Plus (price Rs. 8,999). The Infocus Snap4 is priced at Rs. 11,999 and will go on sale on sale on 26th September exclusively on Amazon India.

The budget smartphone boasts of 4 cameras two at the front side for taking selfies and 2 at the back for clicking normal images. The rear side has a 13 Megapixel + an 8 megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 120 degree wide angle lens. There is also a Dual LED Flash and the camera comes with Auto focus support.

On the front side also there are two 8 Mega pixel cameras, one comes with a standard lens while other is a wide angle lens to capture group selfies and create a bokeh effect.

The mobile comes with 5.2 Inch OnCell IPS Display and has got HD (1280*720) pixels resolution with 282 PPi. The Snap4 also has a decent 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded using the micro-sd card slot.

Powering the phone is a 3000 mAH battery which is sufficient to run it all day. The smartphone comes with micro-usb port and has standard connectivity options like 4G LTE and VOLTE.

The smartphone has 7.9 mm in thickness and weighs 164 grams. Well in a market which has more than 30 smartphone brands competing for a slice of market share, differentiation is very hard, full marks to Infocus for at least trying something different that too in an affordable price range.

The four cameras at least give the buyer bragging rights, will have to see if they can really click the images well.

Infocus is back with a new phone named as Turbo 5. It is their first smartphone released in 2017, by the brand. The Infocus Epic 1 was launched in October 2016.

The all-new Turbo 5 comes in 2 variants: 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage priced at Rs 6,999, the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant price Rs 7,999. The phone comes in Mocha Gold and Pure Gold color options and will be up for grabs starting 4th July, exclusively on Amazon.

The Turbo 5 comes with a metal unibody design, with a 5.2 inch HD display along with 2.5D curved glass on top. The front of the phone looks quite similar to the LeEco smartphones. Especially, because of those black side bezels and signature gold color.

The Infocus Turbo 5 justifies its name by sporting a massive 5000 mAh battery pack.

Notably, it is not very thick measures just 8.9 mm in thickness and weighs 164 grams. According to InFocus, the phone can deliver 2 days of battery life on a single charge. Also, offers 34 days of standby time. It comes with reverse charging support to charge other mobiles.

Furthermore, InFocus have gone with a single camera set-up with this entry-level phone. The Turbo 5 comes with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front selfie shooter. Additionally, both the cameras have a f/2.2 aperture lens for clicking images.

Lastly, the phone comes with Android N 7.0 out of the box, and special features include a split-screen mode. It also offers 4G VoLTE connectivity, FM radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.

Concluding Thoughts: The Infocus Turbo 5 is the first phone with such a massive battery backup at an incredibly low price. It is bound to become a good selling smartphone in the Indian market.
