LG has launched many new smartphones in India recently. The LG K42, W11, LG W31, LG W31+, and the LG W10 Alpha are some of the top phones that are unveiled by the company recently.

Update – 26- Jan-2021 – Lg has launched a new robust phone in India – LG K42. It comes with a military-grade build and testing clearing some of the tests like Vibration shock, low and high-temperature durability, humidity, and some other tests.
Key specs of LG K42
The LG K42 comes with a beautiful wave-like pattern at its back provide style and comfort along with Anti-scratch UV coating, it also has offers a good grip. Additionally, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The sleek-looking phone comes with an 8.4mm thickness and is lightweight (182grams).
It offers a 6.6 inch IPS LCD punch-hole display with HD+ (1600*720)pixels resolution even has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 266ppi pixel density. Also, it comes with an 83.1% screen to body ratio.
Processor & Operating system
Powering the phone is a MediaTek Helio P22(12nm) chipset. It is an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz and comes with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU that runs up to 650MHz speed.
The LG K42 runs on an Android 10 operating system.
At the back, it has a Quad camera setup including a 13MP standard camera, a 5MP super wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor that provides a versatile photography experience.
Additionally, it comes with a punch hole 8MP selfie camera.
It offers WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Dual SIM 4G LTE network connectivity.
The phones come with a decent 4000mAH capacity battery that provides 180 hours of standby time and up to 16 hours of talk time.
It doesn’t support fast charging and comes with a normal 10 Watts adapter.
Variants, Price & Availablity
The K42 comes in only one variant that is 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD. It comes with a price tag of Rs 10,990.
Soon, the phone will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, and retail stores.
Overall, the LG K42 is a decent option but lacks a 5000 mAH battery or the Full HD display that is available in some of the similar price phones.
LG has announced a unique and weirdly designed double-screen smartphone on 14th September 2020.
The phone is named LG Wing.
It comes with a rotating screen with a strong hinge design, unlike anything we have seen in the past.
Powering it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. This smartphone is available in Aurora Gray and Illusion Sky colors. It is expected that the company will release the phone in October 2020.
The phone allows you to do multitasking by using two apps simultaneously without switching between the apps.
LG Wing comes with a Rotating P-OLED display. The main screen arrives with 6.8 inches screen size and 1080 * 2460 pixels resolution. Further, the screen has 395 PPI, 21:9 aspect ratio, and 87% screen to body ratio.
Guarding the screen is Corning Gorilla Glass.
Whereas the second screen size is 3.9 inches a P-OLED screen with 1080*1240 pixels resolution and 419 PPI.
The smartphone weighs 260 g and the dimension is 165.5 * 74.5 * 10.9 mm. Further, the device comes with IP54 Splash Proof and a water repellent coating.

You can buy it for Rs 11,990. It is not very thick and measures 8.40 mm.
It offers users an HD+ 6.52-inch display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. it uses the same processors as the above two mobiles – MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor.
You will receive 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage that remains expandable up to 512 GB.
It runs on Android 10 and has been powered by 4000mAh battery.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the smartphone offers users a 13 Megapixel primary camera on the rear along with a 5 Megapixel camera, and a 2 Megapixel camera.
The rear camera is equipped with a phase detection autofocus. If you love to capture lots of selfies, you will receive an 8 Megapixel selfie camera.
LG W10 Alpha
LG W10 Alpha made its much-awaited launch earlier this year in February.
