Upcoming Oppo F11 Pro – Top Features, Specs, Price and India Launch

Oppo is planning to launch a new phone in the F Series – the F11 Pro. Previously, the company has launched the F9 and F9 Pro which are quite popular in the retail as well as online market.

Notably, the brand has launched the new Oppo K1 recently in the Indian market for Rs. 15,990.

The F-Series for Oppo is a premium mid-range device range that usually has mobiles in the 18k to 32K price range. Now the company is planning to refresh the F9 and F9 Pro with a new Oppo F11 Pro.

Oppo F11 Pro Specs, Details, Camera Features

Oppo has recently teased the F11 Pro on the social media and it is set to launch in India soon. The Oppo F11 Pro comes with a pop-up selfie camera and the highlight of the device is the 48 Megapixel rear camera.

At the back, there is a 48 Megapixel SONY IMX 585 sensor that is quite capable for imaging. Further, there are two more cameras in the assembly aligned vertically.

The pop-up camera at the front side helps to reduce the bezels further as the top side becomes notchless.

Further, the company is teasing that the new phone will come with impressive low light photography.

There is a night sight like feature to click better low light images and F11 Pro may have stabilization support as well.

The phone is expected to launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or 710 Octa-Core processor and will have 6 GB ram and 128 GB storage space.

Further, there is a pop-up selfie camera that works electronically and snaps out whenever you need to click a selfie.

Also, as is evident from the images the front bezels are minimum, due to the pop-up camera.

The doesn’t come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, instead will come with a scanner at the rear side.

The display is going to be FHD+ with 2340*1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Rest of the details are not known, however we will update as more leaks pour in.

Oppo F11 Pro – A Clone of Vivo V15 Pro

As we know Vivo is also launching the V15 PRO on 20th Feb with a 48 MP rear camera, a similar triple rear camera design.

It even has a similar pop-up selfie camera and a no-notch design. The phone is likely to come with SD 675 and 6 GB of ram.

Both the devices have glass back design and looks pretty similar.

In fact, previously the company launched V11 Pro which was quite similar to the Oppo F9 Pro with cosmetic changes.

As we know, Oppo, Vivo, Oneplus are all part of BBK electronics and there is a lot of synergy between the companies.

Whenever one of the features like water drop notch or in-display scanner or popup camera is developed by any of these companies. The feature is quickly replicated by the others.

Like Oppo, F9 Pro was the first to come with water drop notch and was later copied by V11 Pro and OnePlus 6T.

The Vivo Nex came with the pop-up camera and now we will get it in the Oppo F11 Pro or maybe even in the upcoming OnePlus 7.

The only difference is the amount of Ram bundled with both the devices. Both come with 64 GB internal storage.

Specs and More Details

The Oppo F9 comes with a new iconic design which the company is calling an industry first. All the three colors Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, Starry Purple look different from each other and comes most likely with a polycarbonate material with superior paint coating.

The phone has 7.9 mm in thickness and weighs 169 grams which are not too high.

There are Dual Rear Cameras with a chrome ring around them and an oval-shaped fingerprint scanner.

The front side sports a new waterdrop cutout display which is also a first on any mobile.

Performance

Powering the device is the Helio P60 Octa-Core processor which is also available on the Oppo RealMe 1 (a substantially cheaper phone, starts at Rs. 8,999).

Additionally, there is ARM Mali-G72 MP3 which comes with 800MHz clock speed.

Which Is Better to purchase Oppo F9 or Oppo F9 Pro?

There is a big price difference of Rs. 4000 between both the devices and the only benefit we are getting is just 2 GB ram. Which in real-world performance will not make much difference.

If I have to purchase, I will buy the F9 instead of the F9 Pro. It is also evident the company wants to make some quick bucks that is why they have launched the F9 Pro ahead of Oppo F9.

Competition and Other Choices in the 20K Price range?

There are some other great choices in the sub 20k price range like the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 (6 GB), Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi A2, Honor Play and the Huawei Nova 3i which you can consider before purchasing the Oppo F9 or the Pro variant.

Note – I will ordering the Oppo F9 soon, and we will have a more detailed camera and performance benchmarks for the phone so stay tuned to Candytech can follow us on Youtube and Twitter as well.

Other Oppo Phones Launched in India recently is the Oppo A3s and the Oppo Find X.
