Lava has launched the successor to the Lava Iris X8 and company has promised that the smartphone will get the Android Marshmallow update early.

The smartphone was launched on 1-December-2015 , and now has got listed on Amazon India priced at Rs. 10,990.

Lava IRIS X10 to Run on Android Marshmallow

The Lava IRIS X10 ships out with the Android Lollipop 5.1 and will get the Android marshmallow update via OTA update.

The smartphone is the successor to the lava Iris X8 which also company promised to get an early Android Lollipop update and was released almost a year back.

The Lava IRIS X10 offers better performance and also adds up the 4G LTE connectivity which was missing in the Lava IRIS X8. The Lava IRIS X10 is priced at Rs. 10,900 and will soon go on sale on major online retailers like Flipkart and Amazon.

The smartphone has a similar design like the lava Iris X8, with boxy frame and metallic edge. The smartphone comes with a 5.0 inch display and offers HD (1280*720) resolution with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The smartphone has a 13 Mega pixel rear camera which comes with auto-focus and led flash. The front camera is also a 5 mega pixel shooter which is good for taking selfies. The Lava Iris X8 had a 8 mega pixel rear and a 3 mega pixel front camera.

The Lava IRIS X10 is powered by the Quad – Core processor clocked at 1.3 Ghz. The highlight of the smartphone is the 3 GB RAM at an affordable price point. The X 10 competes with the Intex Cloud Swift and the Coolpad Note 3 which also have 3 GB RAM and are considerably cheaper compared to the X10.

The smartphone has Dual Sim Support with 4G LTE high speed data connectivity support along with the native 3G and 2G Connectivity.

The Lava IRIS X10 comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded to 32 GB using a micro – sd card. The smartphone has a good battery back up and can run all day long with the 2900 mAH battery.

The smartphone will be available in White and black colors.

  1. just sucked of trying check for updates but lava hadnt released update and dont know why they have said that u will get guaranteed upgrade to marshmallow and when will they give upgrade when the phone will be at last stage theyshould give update now to give their customers a better experience and i need update because of some lags ..

    • hmmm Lava is quite slow to roll out updates but Android Marshmallow is just on 2.3 % of Android smartphones world wide so far …
