The K5 note is not a complete revamp over the K4 note, but it still rectifies the few shortcomings of the predecessor like a metal body in place of plastic, a better processor, improved front camera and a slightly bigger battery.
The Lenovo K5 Note is not a copy of the K4 Note as far as the design is concerned the smartphone has a very distinctive look compared to both the K4 Note and the K3 Note. There are no front firing Dual speakers like the K4 Note in the Lenovo K5 Note.
The smartphone comes with the same gorgeous looking Full HD screen measuring 5.5 inches.
It was rather surprising to me when Lenovo launched the K4 Note with the Mediatek 6753, and that too clocked at just 1.3 GHz while K3 Note had the same processor clocked higher.
The K4 Note according to me should have got the Helio X10, a much better option.
The Lenovo K5 Note is powered by the new MediaTek Helio P10 processor which is new series of processor by MediaTek.
It is the first processor from the P series (P stands for premium performance) the processor is built on the 64-bit architecture and clocked at 1.8 GHz.
MediaTek claims better performance in camera, display, audio and power consumption, With the Helio P10.
It also includes the company’s Mira-vision technology which serves the function of reducing blue light and a display frame rate of 60 fps.
The odd thing about the K5 note is that the RAM is downgraded to 2GB. (K4 note has 3 GB RAM).
The storage space is same 16 GB with a micro SD slot support up to 128 GB.
The rear camera is a 13 Megapixel shooter and the front camera is 8 Megapixel while the K4 Note has a 5 MP camera.
The fingerprint sensor is placed under the rear camera.
The smartphone is said to run on Android lollipop is reported to get the Android Marshmallow update.
The device packs a 3500 mAh battery, which is enough to complete a day. Added to this the Helio P10 claims 30 percent less power consumption resulting in a better back up.
The smartphone is priced at 12000 INR, and the sales first begin in China. The company didn’t announce about the global availability of the smartphone yet.

Lenovo Also Previously Launched the Long Battery Smartphone Lenovo P70
Lenovo has become very aggressive in the smartphone domain after it acquired Motorola from Google. The smartphone manufacturer is running two parallel brands together in India and other markets and aims to become the third largest company in India after Micromax & Samsung.
Lenovo P70 is launched in China for a price tag of approx. Rs. 14,000 and is powered by powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali T760-MP2 GPU.
Design – It resembles the current Lenovo smartphones with more rectangular frame looks and somewhat to the Sony Xperia Z series smartphones. The smartphone has Camera placed in the top right corner and iconic Lenovo written at the back of the smartphone.
Lenovo has stuffed it with massive 4000 mAH battery to ensure you can watch videos all day long on this power monster and never bother about charging it.
The Lenovo P70 is a dual-SIM Smartphone which has Android’s most popular version KitKat running on it. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display.
Inbuilt storage is sufficient with a 16 GB capacity though you have an option to add a 32 GB micro SD card to boost the storage.
On the camera capabilities, it features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash while there is a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera also for clicking selfies with your loved ones.
It also offers the standard connectivity options like Bluetooth, WIFI, 3G, and 2G(edge).
It measures 142×71.8×8.9mm, weighs 149 grams which are to my surprise very low for a smartphone which has a 4000 mah battery stuffed in it. The thickness of the smartphone is also not too much to make it look bulky.
The smartphone also packs quick charging feature which makes it get charged in 3 hours which is very impressive considering the size of the battery and charge required.
We will update you about its Indian availability when it is launched in the Indian market.
