Lenovo, one of the major players in the Indian PC and laptop market has announced the Lenovo Miix 510 Windows 10 2-in-1 hybrid laptop in India.
The Chinese major has launched the laptop in two variants- one with the i3 processor at Rs. 55,590 and Rs. 79,890 for the Intel i5 processor variant.
Lenovo said that the laptops would be made available in the country via both offline and online channels in coming days. “The detachable form factor is doing very well as a category and has been identified by many of the top industry analysts as the device currently buoying a supposedly stagnating PC market,” said Bhaskar Choudhuri, Director, Marketing, Lenovo India, in a statement.
As the name itself suggests, the Lenovo Miix 510 is powered by the Windows 10 OS. Lenovo, this time around has added stereo speakers to the laptop which are now Dolby enabled. Also, the laptop comes with a detachable keyboard, along with a Lenovo active pen bundled inside the box, which is a good thing to see.
The Lenovo Miix 510 flaunts a 12.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass technology.
The laptop weighs 880 grams, which is on-par with the Apple MacBook Air. Lenovo always went against the Apple MacBook Air series with the Lenovo Miix range of laptops.
The Lenovo Miix 510 has dimensions of 300x205x15.9mm and comes with a 5MP primary camera with support for autofocus. The Miix 510 also has a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The laptop comes with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, and two UBS Type-C ports. Lenovo has not added a single micro USB port in the Miix 510 as the company is following the footprints of Apple.
Lenovo promises that the Miix 510 can deliver up to 7.5 hours of battery life, which is also in-line with the Apple MacBook Air. Lenovo has also launched the ultimate gaming laptop Lenovo Legion Y720 and also launched the most premium business laptop – Thinkpad X1 Carbon.
