Lenovo Z2 Plus With Snapdragon 820 and 4 GB RAM India Launch

 Lenovo India yesterday shared a tweet  “Wait for it….. NOT! #FastForward” and is hinting towards the launch of the Lenovo flagship smartphone Zuk Z2 in India. The Lenovo Zuk Z2 will be launched in the Indian market as Z2 Plus. It is the successor to the Lenovo Zuk Z1 and is the first real flagship performance smartphone Lenovo is launching in the Indian market.  The Lenovo Z2 Plus expected to launch in early September in India.

The Zuk Z2 was launched in June 2016 in China and is one of the most affordable Flagship smartphones priced at 1799 Yuan or Rs. 18,300. The pricing in India can be different and likely to be above Rs. 20,000.  Lenovo also launched the Zuk Z2 Pro which comes with same design and has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage in China and there is a possibility Lenovo may launch that smartphone in India.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus will come with 4 GB of Ram and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor clocked at 2.15 GHz. There is Adreno 530 GPU which is excellent for gaming and graphics intensive tasks.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus has a gorgeous metal and glass design like the Samsung S7 and comes in deep pitch black color and white

The smartphone has a 5.0 inch oleo-phobic coated display with 2.5 D curve glass and Full HD (1920*1080) pixels display with 443 PPi. The Lenovo Z2 Plus comes with 13 Mega pixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and is capable of recording 4K videos. The front camera is also good with 8 megapixel lens and has a f/2.0 aperture.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus sports a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. The smartphone comes with enormous battery with 3500 mAH capacity a rare fitment for a 5.0 inch smartphone.  The Lenovo Z2 Plus comes with a new UI called as the ZUI 2.0 OS instead of the standard Vibe UI on the Lenovo smartphones.

The base android version is Marshmallow 6.0. However it will be revealed later on , if the Indian version also comes with the new ZUI.

The smartphone has support for 4G LTE as well as VOLTE along with the standard connectivity options.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus will be a perfect competition for the Xiaomi Mi 5 ( which recently got a price cut) and the Le 2 Max in the Indian market.  We expect the smartphone to be priced in the range of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 23,000 in the Indian market.
