With the launch of Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow on the anvil, smartphone makers are lining up their production line to uptake it before anyone else. Rumors are now ripe that LG and Huawei seem to be all set to create the next set of Google phones.
They have already started on the blueprint of Nexus 2015 which will start getting manufactured out of their factories sometime late 2015.
The Google Nexus 2015 both the LG made, and the Huawei made models are now expected to launch on 29 September 2015. There are internal Google communication leaks we get to know that the new smartphone is expected to come out on 29 September 2015.
The new LG made Google 2015 is expected to be named Google Nexus 5X. Thank goodness, they are not calling it the Google Nexus 5s as we already have a plethora of devices with s suffix. The iPhone 6s to Samsung Galaxy S6s edge.
The LG made Google Nexus 5X is expected to be priced at $399 (24k) for the 16 GB variant and the 32 GB variant will be priced at $449 (30K).
On the same day, Google will also unveil the Marshmallow Android 6.0 final build along with the two new smartphones. Google though has been tight-lipped on the exact date that the company has decided, leaks are always leaks and till Google send an invite to the developers and media for the event nothing can be concluded.
However, it is just a couple of weeks this will be confirmed it is going to be an event in San Francisco.
LG Google Nexus 2015
Here are leaked images for the LG Google Nexus 2015 which was leaked by Marques Brownlee couple of days back.
Google and Android fans have been waiting relentlessly for the next version to Nexus 5 2015.
Recently leaked images are helping keep the buzz going, and speculations are rife that the Nexus 2015 device from both LG and Huawei will have the fingerprint scanner which also goes in line with the recent announcement of Android Marshmallow supporting fingerprint scanner out of the box.
Fingerprint scanner was missing from earlier Android versions, and with its introduction in Android 6.0, Samsung and other manufacturers so far have been using their solutions for finger scanner.
Leaked images hint a display size of 5 inches or more. LG Nexus 2015 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 808 processor which has very good on performance and lesser heating issues instead of Snapdragon 810 which has heating and performance related issues.
The actual device may differ from the Leaked images. The device is expected to come fitted with powerful Camera equipped with dual LED flash and laser Auto-focus system.
Leaked image of LG’s Nexus 2015 model hints at a bigger camera with the smooth and solid finish. LG Nexus phone is rumored to support 3D camera as the same feature will be supported by the underlying OS (Google M) out of the box. The purpose of the 3D camera is not yet known. There were some Antutu benchmark leaks for the LG Google Nexus 2015 which suggested a very high score of 85,000 which even beats the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge running on Exynos 7420, in all likely hood they were fake as the Snapdragon 808 is no match for the Exynos 7420.
Huawei Google Nexus 2015
Nexus 2015 from Huawei is expected to be more potent than that of LG’s Nexus 2015 regarding specifications, performance, and hardware. According to some leaks, it may carry a Snapdragon 820 processor with 5.7 inches 2560 x 1440 display. This will also make Huawei’s Google Nexus version comparatively more expensive. Some reports hint at Huawei Nexus 2015 to carry a non-Qualcomm chipset, most probably a homemade processor from Huawei itself. Likely to Kirin 9XX which may also get a place on the next Huawei flagship.
Rumors will come to reality as we will move towards fall and the launch will get imminent. Huawei will give a metal finish to its Nexus 2015.
Nexus fans are already putting their views on these leaked images which LG and Huawei may consider before launching their respective models.
With Android 6 promising new exciting feature like that of USB Type C Support, new Nexus 2015 is also expected to be shipped with better USB port supporting good connection with external devices like TV and laptops. Nexus 2015 is also expected to come with better battery life and hence to support longer stand-by and talk times.
Release Date – Generally Google releases a new version of its Android OS in October. So, going by that logic fans have to wait for about 2-3 months from now to get their hands on these devices. Google has in the past partnered with LG for Nexus 4 and 5. This will be the first time Google will partner with Huawei for its flagship Nexus 2015 mobile, and this is also the first time a Chinese company will launch a Nexus device.
Speculations are made about the Huawei’s in-built Emotion UI been tailored for Nexus 2015. Previously HTC, Samsung, LG, and Motorola have worked on Nexus models which have been successful, and we expect the upcoming Nexus models to set new quality and performance benchmarks and beat Samsung in its own game.
