Meizu M3s Launched on Snapdeal in India

Meizu has launched a new smartphone available on Snapdeal exclusively, with a price tag of Rs 7999 onwards.

The smartphone went on sale on Wednesday and comes in two variants. The lower variant offers 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage and is priced at Rs 7,999 while the higher variant comes with 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage and is priced at Rs 9,999.

The smartphone was originally launched in China back in June 2016 and now has got launched in India to rival the Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime.

The Meizu M3S is a metallic smartphone and has a design like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. The device comes in 3 different colors – Grey, Silver, and Gold.

The Meizu M3S offers a 5-inch display with HD resolution and 293 PPI. There is 2.5 D curve glass on top of the display to add to aesthetics and improve user comfort.

Also, it has Android Lollipop OS along with the Flyme UI. However, the listing on Snapdeal has no mention of OS possibly due to it the dated OS issue.

For photography, it has a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera which comes with LED flash and Phase detection autofocus. There is a 5 Mega Pixel front camera to click selfies and for video calls.

Notably, it comes with Octal-Core Mediatek 6753 Processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and there is Mali 860T GPU for playing games. Moreover, it is the same processor which we have seen in the Lenovo K4 Note -read the review.

For extended media storage, it comes with a micro-sd card slot if you want to expand the storage up to 128 GB.  There is 4G LTE as well as VOLTE, apart from standard connectivity options like 2G/3G/WIFI/Bluetooth.

Also, it weighs 138 grams and has a thickness of 8.3 mm which is decent considering the battery capacity and screen size. The Meizu M3s comes with a large 3020 mAH battery capacity and it can easily last all day without the need for a second charge.

Furthermore, the mobile has a digital compass, gravity sensor, and ambient light sensor. Last but not the least, there is an m.touch technology based fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button of Meizu M3s to ensure quick unlocking.

In conclusion, the Meizu M3s offers solid specs for the price tag and will definitely become a top-selling smartphone in the coming weeks for Meizu in India.
