The M5s runs on the Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS along with the Flyme Os 6.0.

There is no word on the launch of M5s in India though Meizu launched the Meizu M3s in the Indian market couple of weeks back.
Moreover, Meizu is not as aggressive as Xiaomi in the Indian market; they will need to pull up their socks if they want to make a dent in the Xiaomi’s growing market share in India.
Also, Meizu has become less aggressive as far as the Indian market goes. The company hardly launches anything path-breaking, or on priority in the Indian market, they are mostly concentrated in winning the Chinese consumers.
Meizu has recently launched the Meizu M7 and Meizu M7 Plus in the Chinese market which comes with Dual Displays.
