Micromax Canvas 1 is the latest smartphone from Micromax and will be going on sale on e-commerce websites as well in the retail market soon.
The interesting thing about the Micromax Canvas 1 is it looks identical to the Apple iPhone 7 from the backside. However, instead of Apple, there is a Micromax logo.
The Micromax Canvas 1 will be available in Matte Black as well as Chrome Black finish and is likely to be priced at Rs. 7,999 in the Indian market. Micromax has yet not shared the price we will update once the company shares a final price for the mobile.
The smartphone comes with 5 Inch HD Display (1280*720) pixels. The display is made from In-Cell technology with 400 nits maximum brightness. There is also 2.5D curved glass on top of it to enhance the looks of the device.
Even if it is a copy of the iPhone, we can’t take away the fact that it looks good.
The cherry on the cake is Android Nougat 7.0. The smartphone runs on the latest Android version and comes with support for multi window display, quick reply notifications and an advanced doze mode.
There is an 8 Mega pixel front facing camera which comes with f/2.0 aperture as well as f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera lens has 1.4-micron lens and with 80-degree wide angle.
The smartphone has also got a 5 Mega pixel autofocus front facing selfie camera which also comes with a Dual tone LED flash.
The Micromax Canvas 1 is powered by the MediaTek 6737 Quad Core processor clocked at 1.25 GHz and comes with 2 GB of Ram.
There is 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 32 GB using the micro-sd card.
The mobile comes with 8.3 mm of thickness and weighs 150 grammes. There is 2500 mAH capacity battery which may not be very large for users looking for a full day of heavy use.
The Micromax Canvas 1 misses on the fingerprint scanner support but has Dual Sim 4G LTE as well as VOLTE connectivity options.
