Most Affordable Bezel-less Phone Launched By Micromax
Micromax and Amazon have just shared that the new Micromax Canvas Infinity will be available from Amazon India exclusively. Further, the first sale of the smartphone is on 1st September 2017.
It is available for Rs. 9,999, the cheapest bezel-less, full vision (infinity) display phone with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Micromax Canvas Infinity comes with an infinite display similar to the LG Q6 that was launched a couple of weeks back in India priced at Rs. 14,999. The key highlight of the Micromax Infinity is its bezel-free display with 5.7 Inch screen size, 18:9 aspect ratio and 1440*720 resolution display (283 PPi).
Furthermore, it has 2.5D Curved glass, improves aesthetics and experience.
Micromax Infinity offers an Impressive Front Camera
The pricing is more aggressive than LG Q6, and the phone also comes with decent specs. Notably, the Micromax Canvas Infinity comes with a 16 Megapixel front selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, offers beautification features to enhance the selfie experience.
The 16 Megapixel selfie camera is an excellent addition to the device and that too in such a low price range. Besides, there is a 13 Megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash support.
Next, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Quad Core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and comes with the Adreno 308 GPU. It is not the fastest processor but it is way better than low-cost underpowered MediaTek processors.
For storing media, it has ample storage and comes with 32 GB of internal storage, can be further expanded to 128 GB using the micro-sd card slot.
To keep the multitasking experience fluid, the Micromax Canvas Infinity comes with 3 GB of Ram that is more than sufficient for lag-free operation.
Also, the mobile comes with the latest Android Nougat 7.1 and, Micromax is even saying that they will get the latest Android Oreo update for the Canvas Infinity.
Powering the smartphone is a 2900 mAH capacity battery that seems low considering it comes with a large 5.7-inch display. However, the screen and the processor are not battery hogs, it will be sufficient for all day usage.

Monopoly is always bad.
Also, Micromax is looking positive, with new smartphone launches like the Yu Yunique 2, Yureka black, and the Dual camera Evok Dual Note to capture back some market share lost to rival Xiaomi.
