Micromax has started sales of it’s new battery centered smartphone Canvas Juice 3. The canvas Juice 3 is the successor to the Canvas Juice 2 which is one of the high selling smartphone for buyers looking at long battery mobile.
The Micromax Canvas Juice 3 is the new device from Micromax’s big battery series of smartphones, The new canvas juice 3 comes with 33% more battery capacity compared to the predecessor Micromax canvas Juice 2.
The Canvas Juice 3 was listed on an online store and its even made available for purchase via physical stores.
The highlight of the Canvas Juice 3 is it packs a 4000 mAh battery (1000 mAh more than Canvas juice 2). The smartphone runs on latest Android Lollipop 5.1 which can provide better back up with good level of optimizations from Micromax.
The smartphone as per information given by Micromax offers 14 hours of talktime and 515 hours of standby time. You will easily be able to run it all day and even can run without charge for 2 days if usage is modest.
The smartphone features a 5-inch screen having HD display resolution (1080 * 720p). The display is protected with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 less fragile than Micromax’s ordinary screen glass.
The Canvas Juice 3 is powered by Mediatek MTK6580 quad-core processor and includes 2 GB RAM and 8 GB of inbuilt storage space which can be expanded via micro SD up to 32 GB. The Mediatek 6580 processor has not been used much in the smartphones, however the Juice 2 used the MTK 6582M which is old but in all likely hood faster than the 6580.
The primary rear camera has an 8 MP camera which comes with autofocus and led flash to capture images. The front camera is pretty basic with only 2 MP resolution and can be used for clicking selfies and video calls, but not much is expected here.

Overall Micromax Juice 3 design and looks are changed compared to the Juice 2. The battery capacity has been improved significantly and Juice 3 offers 33% more of battery life and price is also affordable.
The missing elements are the upgrade we expected from Micromax Juice 3 was better and faster processor, upgrade to front camera and support for the 4G LTE bands. Otherwise for the price it is a good smartphone with HD Display, 2 GB of RAM, latest Android OS and a massive 4000 mAH battery capacity.
If you are considering buying the long battery smartphone, the Juice 3 definitely offers more battery life and can be considered.
