Motorola has finally unveiled the Motorola Moto C and Moto C Plus. A new series of smartphones which are affordable and are meant for budget mobile buyers.
After several leaks and reports finally both the devices are official. While the Moto C and Moto C Plus comes with same design and screen size, the devices differ in terms of internal hardware and specs. Motorola has introduced this new series which sits below the Moto E and Moto G series in terms of price and specs.
Both the devices come with the poly-plastic build and a large camera dial at the back, similar to the Moto G series.
Though there is no physical home button or fingerprint scanner present on the Moto C series.
Moto C Price @ Rs 6000
Motorola Moto C comes with 5 Inch FWVGA (854*480) pixels display. The resolution is lower than the HD resolution found in most smartphones. To make up for the resolution, Motorola is shipping it with the Android Nougat 7.0.
The smartphone is powered by the Quad Core Mediatek 6737 SOC clocked at 1.1 GHz. There is 1 GB RAM and 8 /16 GB of internal storage.
Moto C comes with 2350 mAH capacity battery which is sufficient to run the device for all day. There are going to be 3G, and 4G models for the Moto C series and most likely India will get the 4G model with support for VOLTE.
The camera is also pretty basic with 5 Megapixel sensor at the back with fixed focus and a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera for clicking selfies.
The Moto C has 9 mm of thickness and weighs 154 grams, not a sleek device. The smartphone comes in white, red, black and gold colour options.
The Moto C will be available in a couple of weeks for Euro 89 or Rs 6000 onwards.
Moto C Plus Priced @ Rs 8000
The Moto C Plus is more impressive and comes with better hardware and camera when compared to the Motorola Moto C.
The Moto C Plus is powered by the same MediaTek MTK6737 but is clocked higher at 1.3 GHz to offer slightly improved performance. The smartphone has got 2 GB of Ram and also runs on the Android Nougat 7.0.
The rear camera is also improved and comes with a 8 Megapixel lens with f/2.2 aperture, along with autofocus and LED flash.
The smartphone has 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128 GB using the micro-sd card slot.
There is also an improvement in the display resolution as the Moto C Plus comes with 5 Inch 720P (1280*720) HD display.
The biggest improvement is its battery capacity which is almost twice that of Moto C. The Moto C Plus comes with a massive 4000 mAH capacity battery. The Moto C Plus has a 10mm thickness and weighs 162 grams.
The Moto C Plus will also be available in 4 colour options like the Moto C and will have similar connectivity options.
