This is really interesting to see after LG deciding to skip the Snapdragon 810 on heating and throttling concerns Motorola is also poised to skip the Qualcomm flagship processor.
The HTC M9 uses a more powerful Snapdragon 810 but has run into troubles with heating and throttling issues with the Snapdragon 810 processor. For the same reasons Samsung used the Exynos 7420 in the Samsung Galaxy S6 instead of the Snapdragon 810.
Moto X Gen3 Snapdragon 808 4 GB RAM Smartphone – Further Motorola’s Moto X Gen 3 is expected to come up with 2K QHD (2560*1440)P resolution on a screen size of 5.20 inch. The Super Amoled QHD screen for Motorola Gen 3 will have 565 PPI which is incredibly good. Probably Motorola have learnt from the mistake Google did with the using the 6 inch screen on Google Nexus 6, which is not well accepted in market. They have kept the screen size same as the older version of Moto X.
The smartphone will have a 3280 mAH battery which is adequate to support the QHD display and Snapdragon 808. The internal storage is expected to be 32 GB/ 64 GB; two variants of the smartphone can be there.
The Camera is also expected to get a bump up to 16 MP for the Rear shooter while the front camera is going to be 5 MP. The Moto X Gen 2 has a 13 MP rear and 2 MP front camera.
The new Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen will also support 4G LTE along with the 3G, 2G and Wifi, standard connectivity options. The price for Moto X 3rd Gen is not known but we can expect it to be around Rs. 40,000 to 45,000 considering the superior specs.
The new Moto smartphone will run on latest Android OS – Android Lollipop 5.0. The Moto X will be more smarter than the previous generations in terms of intuitive application and gesture support as was told by a Motorola spokesman. Motorola is working on making the smartphone user experience much better by seamless integration of software and hardware.
