Motorola is working on a new smartphone which we reported a couple of weeks back – MOTO X(2017) now it is said that the new smartphone will be Moto X4 instead of Moto X(2017).
Popular leaker Evan Blass @evleaks have shared this update on Twitter along with the below image, and there is also in an image shared which shows the complete Motorola line up for 2017.

We have already reported on the more affordable Moto C series which is likely to be priced below Rs 8,000 and will compete with the upcoming Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A (launched).
The Moto X4 is said to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor be clocked at 2.2 GHz. The processor will come along with the Adreno 512 GPU which offers quite superior performance compared to Snapdragon 625 used in the Moto G5 Plus.
The smartphone will have X12 LTE modem which is a feature of SD 660 and offer upto 600 MBPS LTE speeds. The Moto X4 comes with 5.5 Inch Display which will have Full HD resolution and a 2.5 D Curve glass coating.
The Moto X4 can also sport the Corning Glass 4 on top of the display to make the device more robust. The smartphone also comes with the IP68 rating like the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 with excellent resistance to water and dust.
Moreover, the design for the Moto X4 looks similar to the Moto G5 Plus, made from Aluminum 6000 material, analogous to the Nokia 6. The curved smartphone comes with a large camera Dial at the back and a Fingerprint scanner button at the front.

The smartphone is alleged to come with 3800 mAH battery capacity, and it will also have the Motorola Turbo Charging support. The Moto X4 will run on the Android Nougat 7.0 with bare minimal bloatware, offering a near stock Android experience.
However, there is some mention of an AI which will have to explore at a later stage as the below leaked slide from Motorola Internal presentation points out.
Additionally, the Moto X4 is said to have 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded by users upto 128 GB using the Mico-sd card slot. The smartphone will have features like USB Type-C port and support for 4G VOLTE.
It is rumoured that the device will be priced close to $349 and in India can cost close to Rs 24,999. Some of the details about the Moto X4 are certain, yet details about the Camera, price and variants will be shared as the device gets unveiled. We will update all other details once there is an official unveiling, which doesn’t seem to be far.
