Yesterday a second model was spotted online on an e-commerce portal in Hongkong and it is called as the Moto E3 Power (XT 1706).
As the name suggests the Moto E3 Power comes with a large battery backup and is meant for users looking for a great battery life mobile. The Moto E3 Power as per the listing has a price tag of 1098 HongKong dollars or Rs. 9200.
The new Motorola Moto E3 Power comes with a massive 3500 mAH battery capacity along with the fast charging support. The sm artphone has a 5.0 inch display and has HD resolution (1280*720) with 293 PPI. It is not mentioned how thick or heavy is the device, considering it is a 5.0 inch smartphone it will be thick to accommodate large size battery.
The smartphone is powered by the Mediatek Quad-Core processor MTK6735 clocked at 1.0 Ghz. The processor is clocked at a lower speed to increase the battery life that the smartphone can offer. The Moto E3 Power comes with 2 GB of Ram which is sufficient to run the smartphone. The MTK 6735 processor has been used in many smartphones like Coolpad Note 3 Lite previously.
The Moto E3 Power runs on the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0 update and offers a near stock experience.
The smartphone comes with a 8 Mega pixel rear camera and there is a 5 megapixel front camera to click selfies. It is much better when compared to the current Moto E which comes with a 5 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera.
The Moto E3 Power comes with a similar design like this year Moto G4 with a matte finish back cover and curved edges. The smartphone has a circular Motorola logo at the back of the device. The front side has a Dual Speaker at the top and bottom of the device and there is no fingerprint scanner on the E3. Notably the Moto G4 Plus comes with a fingerprint scanner.
The storage space is 16 GB on the Moto E3 Power and it can be expanded to 128 GB using the Micro-sd card. The smartphone comes with Dual sim and has support for 4G LTE along with native 3G/2G and Wifi.
Though this is an early leak we can expect Motorola to launch the smartphone in next few days in Hong Kong and it may also come to the Indian market in late September 2016.
