Nokia 5 India Launch on 15 August Price Rs 12899

While Nokia 3310 and the Nokia 3 is already available in the market, HMD global is going to bring the two mid-range phones to the market this month Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.

As per the recent report, the Nokia 5 will go on sale on the Indian Independence Day on 15th August in 10 Major Cities and will be priced at Rs 12,899. The Nokia 5 will be available in 4 different colours – Black, Blue, Silver and Cooper.

HMD global has said that the Nokia 5 will be available in the retail markets for top cities –  Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Calicut from 15 August and later more cities will also get the supply for the Nokia 5.

The Nokia 6 is also getting launched on Amazon India on 23rd August and so far has received more than 1 million registrations from interested users. The 1 million registrations may not mean 1 million sales for Nokia 6 but shows a large volume of people are interested in buying the Nokia 6 smartphone.

Nokia 5 Specs and Features

The Nokia 5 comes with a 5.2 inch IPS LCD HD Display (1280*720) pixels and there is a home button at the front which doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 430 Processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and comes with 2 GB of Ram. The smartphone comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 128 GB using the micro-sd card slot.

The Nokia 5 has a 13 Megapixel rear camera which comes with auto-focus support and LED Flash. There is also a decent 8 Megapixel front selfie camera which can click decent selfies.

The Nokia 5 comes with 3000 mAH capacity battery and runs on the latest Android Nougat 7.0. The Nokia 5 is also made from 6000 grade aluminum and promises a robust build and design.

But it lacks beefy hardware like the latest Lenovo K8 Note or the top selling Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, though a lot of users will prefer the premium Nokia to Xiaomi and Lenovo.
