Nokia 6 Crosses 1 Million registrations is a New Rage

HMD Global started registration for Nokia 6 in China 8 days back and it is already a rage in China. The flash sale starts on 19th January. On the very first day, 2,50,000 registrations were recorded.

The number of registrations crossed 1 million yesterday and to be precise at the time of writing the article it has 1,212,781 registrations are already done. Fans all over the world are excited about the return of Nokia, and it is quite likely lot of fans may not get the smartphone in the first sale.

It is quite likely that the number of registrations hit 1.5 million before the January 19 sale.

HMD Global has not yet confirmed if the same model is going to be released all over the world. HMD is the firm that has exclusive manufacturing, branding, distribution license for Nokia smartphones and it seems they are set to launch more phones at MWC 2K17.

Nokia is also hosting an event on February 26 where upcoming Nokia smartphones are going to be unveiled. Nokia 6 costs around 1,699 Yuan in China, approx Rs. 17,000. Nokia 6 will only be available in Jet Black colour currently.

To refresh, Nokia 6 sports a 5.5 inch full HD display with 2.5 Corning Gorilla glass protection. The device is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at 1.1 GHz speed.

This is coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB in built storage.

Coming to camera section, there is a 16 MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens at f/2.2 aperture with PDAF & dual LED Flash. There is also an 8 MP front camera. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.
