Finnish brand, Nokia made a comeback under the new leader HMD Global, at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona. The company launched three Android phones- Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 and the iconic Nokia 3310 feature phone.
According to the new leak from Nokiapoweruser, the Nokia 9 will be the first flagship phone from the company that will feature top end hardware.
The leak reveals that the Nokia 9 will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, paired with 6 GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU for handling the graphic intensive tasks in the phone.
The Nokia 9 will be the first smartphone to come with IRIS scanner for advanced security and will be IP68 certified as well, which means you can dip the phone in water for 30 minutes.
The phone will also come with a fingerprint sensor, but the placement is still a mystery. That said, it might be embedded into the home key itself, same as the Nokia 6 and Nokia 5.
Also, the recently announced Nokia OZO audio technology will be integrated into the Nokia 9 itself to provide additional audio enhancements.
Coming to the display, the Nokia 9 is said to feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, and the panel to be used will be an OLED panel.
The smartphone will get a 22 MP dual lens camera at the rear, which is said to be powered by Carl Zeiss. Frontal, there will be a 12MP camera, which is pretty good, though.
According to the report, this entire package will be backed with a 3800mAh battery with support for Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0 technology.
These are just tipped specifications of the phone and none of the confirmed for now. So, take them with a grain of salt. Nokia has launched the Nokia 8 and they are also likely to launch the Nokia 9 with a bezel less display similar to the Samsung S8 and LG V30.
