Oppo F3 Diwali Edition launched in Indian Market Priced at Rs 18990
Chinese tech major Oppo today launched a festive edition of the best-selling smartphone in Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 price bracket, Oppo F3. Oppo, so far launched three color options of the F3 smartphone- gold, matte black, and rose gold.
The brand now announced a bright red color variant of the Oppo F3, which they call it as Oppo F3 Diwali Edition. The Oppo F3 Diwali Edition is a limited edition version of the Oppo F3 with a red colored back panel and complete red colored user interface.
Oppo says that the Diwali Limited edition phone, a red variant, is an extension of the original Oppo F3, and the price is set at Rs. 18,990. Every customer who purchases the F3 Diwali Limited Edition would get an exclusive cricket bat signed by the Indian Cricket Team players because Oppo is the official sponsorer for Indian Cricket Team.
On the launch of OPPO F3 Diwali Limited Edition, Mr Will Yang, Brand Director, OPPO India, said, “Diwali is a festival that brings together loved ones under one roof and gives them an opportunity to bond. This customized red phone, a colour that signifies the auspicious festivities, aims to help our consumers click perfect moments with their families and make this a preferred Diwali gift.”
Over the past few years, since 2011, Oppo is touting itself as a selfie brand because it produced excellent selfie-centric smartphones in the past. Every year, Oppo launches a special edition smartphone on the occasion of Diwali and this year, the Oppo F3 comes into play.
During the same Oppo F3 launch event, the Chinese brand even announced a new brand revamp- ‘The Selfie expert and leader’ because the Oppo F3 is rated as the best-selling smartphone between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000. With its presence in 28 global markets, OPPO products and service are now enjoyed by over 20 crore young consumers around the world.

The Oppo F3 Diwali Edition comes with a 5.5-inch display with a Full HD resolution. The display has a 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
The phone internally has octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor and ARM Mali-T860 MP2 GPU to handle graphics. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which also has a dedicated microSD slot for memory expansion up to 128GB.
The phone comes with two selfie cameras of 16MP and 8MP. The 8MP camera is used for group selfies because it has a 120-degree field of view. The rear camera in the Oppo F3 is a 13MP one, but it won’t be able to record 4K videos.
The phone even has a fingerprint scanner built into the home button, and it has support for VoLTE, 4G LTE. A 3200 mAh Li-ion battery is present inside the device. The Oppo F3 is still running Android Marshmallow based ColorOS 3.0. No update to Android Nougat.
