Panasonic Launches 2 New Mid-Range Phones in India

Panasonic has launched all new Panasonic Eluga A3 and A3 Pro at Rs 11,290 and Rs 12,790 respectively. It’ll be available to buy via offline channels from today, 10-August-2017.

The key highlight of the new Panasonic phones is the artificial intelligence named ARBO. It’ll be an inbuilt feature in all the Panasonic smartphones from now. It’s probably the cheapest smartphone to come with 2 AIs, the second one from Google. 

Panasonic Eluga A3 and A3 Pro

Both A3 and A3 Pro have an all-metal unibody design and they look identical. However, the specs for both are slightly different.

The design is boxy from the front and sports a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. 

The presence of 4000 mAh battery makes them a tad thicker, measuring 9 mm in thickness. Moreover, they weigh close to 160 grams that is not too heavy.

The A3 and A3 Pro sports a 5.2-inch HD display (1280*720) pixels, protected by Asahi Dragon Trial glass coating.

Powering the A3 is the MediaTek MT6737 SOC. On the other hand, the Pro variant runs on a slightly more powerful MediaTek MT6753 chipset.

The A3 comes with 3GB RAM/16GB storage, whereas the A3 Pro has 3GB/32GB storage. The phones allow storage expansion upto 128 GB with the help of micro SD cards.

Furthermore, they run on the latest OS from Google, Android Nougat that is now present on 13.5% of mobiles globally.

Both A3 and A3 Pro flaunt a 13 MP rear camera with PDAF support. For clicking selfies, both come with an 8MP camera.

On the connectivity front, they feature Dual SIM, WiFi, GPS, OTG, 4G/VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 port.

The only difference between the smartphones is the processor and the internal storage capacities, rest everything is same in the Elua A3 and A3 Pro. The smartphones will be available in Gold, Mocha Gold and Grey color options in the market as well as online.

Also, Panasonic recently launched the P9 Max and Ray 500 with 4000 mAH battery capacity.
